Reno or N. Nevada Bandsters out there???
drtnsnw replied to Success in lapband's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
well, I had an honest to God PB tonight!! Boy, was that not fun! We had chicken strips for dinner and I brought some to work. I had some problems at dinner because they were pretty dry, kinda hung up a bit. I got kinda hungry about 8:00 tonight at work so I heated up a couple. Ate one and then the other. All of a sudden kinda get this pain in my chest. My mouth starts watering and it was really hurting. Went to the trash can and up comes this giant foam ball with the chicken!! I know it was because I ate it too fast. Did not chew enough. Boy, was that ever gross!!!!! I did feel better right after though Chris -

How are you feeling from the fill? I cant wait, I am eating way too much right now and this plateau is killing me Chris -

Gail, I do mine through paint. You open the pic in paint and then use the image tabthen size if I remember right and slide the size down to about 75% and see how that fits. If you can't get it send the pics to me and I can shrink them down for you. Chris -

I guess I needed to clarify. I can walk that far, but I don't like to do it :girl_hug: I have had to walk up to 10 miles in a day when I go hunting. usually it is closer to the 5 or 6 I do do alot of activity at work, along with the sledding, quads and keeping up with an 8yo Gail, I will see if I can post a couple of picss of my truck loaded up Chris -

yeah, the flatbed is so I can haul the quads or sleds and still pull my camp trailer. We were looking at toy haulers a few years ago and my wife hated them. We compromised on getting a pickup with a flatbed instead. My dog is a boxer. It will be interesting to see how she does at the dog area. I have had her around other dogs all her life, but she is such a big sissy:) The neighbors Chiuawa ran her off the other day. Chris -

NO I never called, I havn't been gaining just hovering at the same spot so I figured I would wait. We are going to Oregon the weekend before my fill and I don't think it would be a good idea to fill before I go out in the sticks for 4 days. I would rather just wait. Sorry I can't give you a more specific time, I am having to cover for one of our guys that broke his leg a few weeks ago and went into the docs for his clearance. I just don't know if he got it or not. That will decide what shift I have to pick up Chris -

He just asked me what I wanted to do and we talked. Gail, 2 new grizz's huh?? VERY NICE!! We will have to get together and ride this summer. My wife has a Sportsman and my son has a Hawkeye. I would love to see some of your area, we have kinda rode the trails up around here. Chris -

Hey Cheryl!! welcome to the crew!! I am kinda the token guy around here, but everyone on this section is awful helpful. You got a question, ask it and it probably will be answered right or wrong:) Pam, I will have to remember the south beach meals!! I am on my own after tonight for 8 days so I ahve to become creative with my meals or I will be at the burgerking every night. My wife Mom and Son are all going to Texas to visit my sister! Chris -

never had a PB, the chicken noodle soup was more like fritters than little noodles. They are very big and almost all flower. That is what I got hit with. Right now I can sit down and eat a full meal. Not quite like before, but still a full portion. My weight has not dropped at all over tha last week, I know it is becasue of my portion size going back up. How are your incisions doing? I have had some oozing still but the docs office said it was OK. It is getting annoying! Chris -

WOW!! They told me the 18th was the first fill they could get me in! It is killing me right now, I can eat way too much and there is nothing I can do about it. I still can't eat certain things, but others just go right down. I tried to eat homeade chicken noodle soup the other day, and it almost killed me! Felt like a poker in my chest. I may have to call and see if I can get my fill appt moved up. Chris -

I am going out riding again today! Looks like it might be pretty good, but who knows. This has been the worst snow season that anyone can remember and our spring storms arn't coming in. Looks like my weight loss has really tapered off and basically come to a standstill:( I am kinda bummed, but now I HAVE LESS THAN A MONTH BEFORE MY FIRST FILL AND AM HOPING IT WILL HELP. (sorry, I keep hitting the caplocks) How is everyone else doing?? Chris -

Dude, you are acting like a TOOL!!! Just drop it and don't make yourself look like an idiot in front of a bunch of people who don't even know you. You both have an awful lot of growing up to do. Bubbles, did you go through a spych eval?? You need some serious support! Go to a local meeting and talk to someone Chris -

thanks guys, I just really liked that pic so I thought I would share. Pam, I am kinda on an in between right now. I eat potato buds lots, yougurt and cottage cheese. I can eat some softer chicken, but have had a couple of problems. Not bad, but painful. I had a hamburger patty the other night and it was really good. right now we are making potato cakes Chris
