Congrats Sweetie! I am jealous!! LOL I am still waiting for my insurance to let me know if I am a go!.. AHHHH lol I am scheduled to have it AUg 8th.... so crossing my fingers.... Do you mind me asking what insurance you have?? I have Anthem Blue Cross...and the people at the doctors told me they are usually way fast at approving.. I went to the docs on Wed... and Still haven't heard... LOL I just want it sooo bad.. I too, have been doing research forever!.. LOL

Hey Sassy... I see you are in Knox... my ex lives there... Sorry I do not know of the doctor you are speaking of.... but if you are ever having a bad day... i give you permission to find him and take out your anger on him... LOL... he told me he needed a break and to contact him when i lose some weight... and it was over a email.... grrrrrrr.... anyways... aside from that.. I love your town... sooo pretty.

Hey Everyone! Okay so I went to the doctors yesterday for the blood work, etc.. Now I am waiting for my insurance to clear me..The nurse that is doing most of my paper work says my insurance is very good with approving people... I don't always have the best of luck.. so i am a lil nervous.. LOL... (breath Lisa) okay so.. hopefully I will get approved ASAP because my surgery date is 8-8-08..

Hey All! Okay so my schedule operation date is Aug 8th.. I go for my pre-test tomorrow... I have been pigging out like no tomorrow because I know that after this band.. No more hold habits.. Anyways.. I hate how I feel.. blah.. I feel like i gained like 20 pounds... So my question to everyone is... what is the liquid pre-diet that they put you onw prior to the surgery..? Help~~~ LOL..

Hey okay.. I am confused and need help/advice... 1.) Okay so I have decided to go with the surgey... (yeah!!) but I am going to be in a wedding in September and its going to be in GreenBay, WI. I live in Las Vegas, NV. The wedding is Sept 20th, 2008.. so I am going to from Vegas to GreenBay for three days then I will be in Chicago, IL for a week. I will be in Chicago from Sept 21st returing to Vegas on the 25th. My orginal plan was to have the surgery on Sept 26th (my bday). I was going to make this vacation/wedding my last celebration before my surgery... 2.) So then I started to think about the surgery and get excited... At the same time I received a call from the doctors/surgens office telling me I can have the surgery on August 8th... I was like really... I then made the choice to move the surgery date to Aug 8th instead of Sept 26th.... 3.) But now I am having second thoughts.. as the same for my family... I am scared that if I have the surgery on August 8th... I may not be fully recovered from the surgery.. and I so do not want to be in an unfamilar city/state w the possiblity of having issues... etc.. 4.) So now after thinking about everything... weighing all the pros and con's... I am going to have the surgery in Sept... Which means I have to bust my behind in the gym... and say goodbye to carbs for the next month in half... Ahh.... I welcome any thoughts.. advice.. LOL.... ahhhh

Thanks everyone!! I am actually thinking about going with my second plan.. having it in August.... I haven't meet up with the doctor yet, I go in on Wed for all my tests... this morning I had my meeting with the nutritionist... I am so just ready to get on with this... I am a lil scared though... LOL... I will be honest... not drinking beer is scary.. lol but i know its going to be so worth it.

Hey all ... Okay so I got the my date for surgery!!!! August 8!!! 8-8 08 Hell ya!!! LOL I just have a few concerns... I am in a wedding in Sept 20th to be exact... I don't want to be sick and only be on liquids and mush food... I will have been 6 weeks post op... do you think I will be okay to eat regular foods.. just chew.. chew... chew.. lol ... I am sooo excited... I can't wait..
