Howdy! I started the process at 450 lbs on 11/17/10, 8 months later I am down 127.8 to 322.2 lbs It can be done... trust me! Yeah you will have good days and bad days but thats just life. Make sure that you do starting measurements ofyour body. That way when the scale doesnt move but you know your body is changing you can see the measurements. I didnt measure and I wish that I had. I'm in chat a lot since I am a teacher who has the summer off.

I was reading one your things you wrote on the 200+ to loose what a inspiration! I just got banded dec 29th and I've already lost 56 lbs down to 384! How much weight have you lost so far?

I was banded on Wednesday, November 17th. So far soo good. I had the operation at 1030 and was home by 230. My recovery has been a lot easier than I thought it would be. I'm following all the instructions from my doctor to make sure that it continues to go well. I look forward to hearing everyone's stories. -
I am 31 years old and fixin' to get the lapband on November 17th. I go in about an hour to get my labs done. I'm getting nervous and excited...wonder how these next 16 days are going to go.
