Did it help how you felt about yourself losing the weight and looking good in your clothes? I hope it helps me, cause my hubby never notices nothing.

How long do you have to be on the insurnce before they will cover the surgery?

Does anybody know how long a person would have to be on the insurance before it would cover your surgery?

HOWDEY FOLKS Are they anyone around Tulsa that may be having your surgery in the next 3-6 months and are you selfpay? Have you found a Doctor already? Im probably going to go to mexico and get mine. Am I going ALONE????

WELL Im not sure yet, My husbands going to be getting a settlement zi think with in the net 3 months hopefully before, then I will schedule, I dont wanna wait and deal w/ insurance com. IM getting so excited just readind all of your posts.I will either fly or drive, It will be I think 15 hours to drive from tulsa to san diago then to dr. ortiz I have no Idea . If I fly it will be my first time ever, I dont know if I can make it alone. I wish I had a friend around this area that was gonna go the same time as me I would just go w/ her. Anyway be praying all , that the money comes soon and it is more than enough I dont wanna take it all, I would feel guilty............NOT! I WANNA BE SKINNY IM TIRED OF BEING FAT!

Audree about where do they put your port? Does it set anywhere your pant waiste would be. You know they make low and lower and high wasted jeans. Where do they usually put it? will it rub your jeans ?

Does anyone know if you have you surgery in mexico what is the Bmi they require mine is 35.5 is that enough for the lapband surgery? Also what about that 6 month diet plan, Is that nessassary, or just if you use insurance? I will probably use Audree Doctor.

:party: I tell you what I'm tired it seems all the time, I still see at least 6 months ahead of me before I get mine. I can bearly breathe I had a tummytuck in2005 and my stomach is flat but full to the max, Then now promise you dont laugh, my sides blew out and l now have arm rests for my arms to rest on and I had small legs before tummytuck now there getting fat. Had implants in 99 ones been busted for 2 years, gotta get that fixed. Im just wonder if Im worth all this money to fix me up? I feel guilty cause I could spend it on kids, Sooooooooooooooo When you start haveing a bad day just think of me with a blowed out tit, and a flat tummy with sides so big now I can honestly use them for arm rest and heck a waist lol I think its under my tits, and if my hips get any bigger Ill just be able to reach over my shoulder to wipe my butt. Just picture that a while. lol :heh:

Thats what I was gonna do get my own , or try to save money by june? I will have to pay 236.00 a month if I get insur, then there is no guareenties, so ill just proby go to mexico, im desperate. are there anyone on here that is like obsessed with there weight, evrything I do I think about how I look, and How I could look then I get down and dont even wanna go outside, All I have to do is try on clothes and then I get upset. Im wondering if there is any fill Doctors around Tulsa Okla. If I go to mexico have surgery and come back, what does a person do about getting a fill? Do you have to pay for every fill in here, and there free with the doctor you use? Am I understanding right? I,m just doing my research.

baby got back your bmi and weight and weight goal are the same. IM 5"2 186pds I have to weigh 206 before the insurance will cover it. Where did you have your surgery?

Shay I am 5"2 and almost 200pds, I am looking for a doctor, I was gonna stay in oklahoma and get insurance for 6 mon then ask for surgery, well I think Ive decided to save that money and go to mexico, sounds like they have some good doctors over there, hang in there,If you cant get insurance to pay we can save money, go to mexico and then get surgery or maybe get a loan, heck Ive almost thought of everything. HI all, IM just getting started in my search, Ive got to go to siminar with Gorospe, I dont know how much he charges for the Lapband, Im just getting insurance, my husband dont know why, but I do,lol anyway I was just wondering cause I will have to pay 20% I think. and 500.00 deductiable. If it don't workout with him Im gonna check out Dr. fisher. Do they run about the same in price?
