Need info on unfill and pouch dilation
dramastarr replied to Firecallie's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Update on my dilation. All is well praise God! I will never again go with too much fluid in my pouch. That was a clise call. I eould rather ut be too loose than too tight. Got .3 added and seem to be doing fine. I gained 2lbs, but I knew, what I was doing wrong, ste stuff thst I could no longer eat with restriction. Enjoyed it now time to get back on trsck. Wohoo. -
Thanks on mushy and want baked cod.
-
Hey does anyone consider tuna snd vaked fush a mushy?
-
My experience is a too tight band csn cause a dilation abd a big ir full unfill. You don't wsnt yhat. You made the right choice.

Don't be sad I'm right there with you. I have dilation. I had a slight unfill and liquids 3 days then mushy 3 days. The tech at my fill center says thid will give the esphogas time to heel .The only thing is we are going to have to rely on will power and lots of wster and exercise to stay on track. You will be able to make it.

Dilation?! Has anybody had one?
dramastarr replied to dramastarr's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thsnk you do much. I am on liquids 3 days then nushys 3 days. My band was too tight abd I had sinus drainage. When I did have relief to eat I over dud it vi have learned my lesson. Too tight is not too good, vomiting is a bad sign, slime means something happened, all weight loss is not good weight loss. -

Watery Mouth and Foam
dramastarr replied to dramastarr's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Guys I will avoid carbonated beverages from now on, because this coukd if been part of the cause if my dilation. -
I made sone mistakes, I got a fill that was too tight and waited too long to get an unfill. They did an ex ray and told ne it was dilation. I am freaking out because I keep hearing that when you have this happen you will continue to have issues afterwards. I had to get fluid taken out, .7ccs, on liquids for 4 days, then 4 days mushy and go back in a month. Does anyone who has gone through this have any advice?

Watery Mouth and Foam
dramastarr replied to dramastarr's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Okay guys, I finally made it to the dr, but I had to wait because if the holidsy abd tge full center was closed from Thursday to monday. They did an exray abd I have a damn dialiton!!! I am so scared that I screwed uo. I have heard that once you hsve a dialiton yoy continue to gave issues. I feel like its my fault because I should gave gone in sooner, but work and with the fill center being so damn far, I jept puttung it off. I am on liquids fir 4 days, then mushy, the solid. Plus they had to take out a lit up f my fluid. -
Watery Mouth and Foam
dramastarr replied to dramastarr's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
No, I haven't gotten one yet. I have been monitoring myself. The foam has subdued, but now I keep burping. I think with my fill I have to re train myself to eat because I have been able to eat more choices than when I began my lap band journey. One other thing does menstrual cycle cause your band ti be tight. -
Does this ever happen to anyone beside me? I had a fill last week and it seemed to be fine, but last night I had some issue due to congestion and my sinus. Now my mouth is watery and I have to swallow every few seconds and last night I had white foam coming up. I think I may have messed up because I tried to drink a cup of mountain dew, but that afternoon it was still difficult to eat anything. I did not have any issues like this last week.

Should wait a few days for an unfil?
dramastarr posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I got a fill on Tuesday. I had issues that night, watery mouth and foam. Last night, Wednesday, I had less of a watery mouth and was able to sleep without thinking or feeling like I had to burp. I feel like I may be swollen from the fill, and the swelling will go down in a few days. I would hate to get an unfil when I should just wait a few days for the swelling to go down. I hate the fill center cause its not the doctor's office so you can't really talk to anyone knowledgable about what is going on. I don't have to burp anymore, but my mouth is still a little watery. What should I do? -
White Foam and watery mouth after a fill
dramastarr replied to dramastarr's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I will, I just ate some soup and it went down with no problem. So hopefully the swelling will go down, but I did make a call to the fill center. -
