Band to sleeve...some questions and concerns
Hynita replied to William 2010's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
To me it sounds like you would be better off with the bypass. People say if you have reflux with the band you will have it with the sleeve. If I was you I'd do bypass that way you don't have to do a sleeve to bypass later. Just makes more sense to me. Good luck and hope all goes well. -
Thanks everyone for your reply. I am a band to sleeve patient now but had never heard of this procedure. Thanks again.

Isn't Obama care insurance just other insurance companies that offer a tax break so it's cheaper? I didn't know that Obama had his own plans? At least here in Oregon it's like that.

I've lost 37 lbs but my current weight is 155. I thought I'd be smaller but I'm wondering if this is where my body wants me. I lost over 120 with my band.
-
Yes I eat when I'm not hungry I tend to just eat to eat. My current weight is 155 but I go up and down all the time. I seen the most weight loss in the 1st 3 months. I have lost any in probably 3 months or more. I do work out but I could probably do a little more. I go about 4 days a week. I can eat more now than before too. Which scares me. I miss the stuck feeling which stopped me from eating before.

Just prepare yourself for the intense pain that comes with a tummy tuck and also be sure that you will have someone with you 24/7 for the first 2 weeks. Because you won't be able to do much for yourself.

breast lift with augmentation tips help!
Hynita replied to mariamitani's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I had a augmentation in 2012 with a 533cc mod profile and ended with a D-DD I wasn't happy with size or shape so I went back and got a 700cc UHP I ended with a DDD I am much more happier now but even with a 700 I think I could have gone bigger. Do you have lots of breast tissue already? If so a 400 will be good if not then your gonna be small. Anyways. Just keep up on your pain meds and muscle relaxers you will do great!! -
I had a tummy tuck and breast augmentation with my band and never had to deflate it
-
I'm about 8 months out and have only lost 37 lbs. It's definitely different from the band you have to work ALOT more with the sleeve. The restriction is different as you don't get stuck which makes you stop eating. You kinda have to stop yourself. I as well lost a lot with the band oover 100 lbs I know it's frustrating but keep trying you will figure out what works for you.

I personally feel they shouldn't have to stop because you have a hard time with those items. That's not there fault I could understand if it was your husband who is always trying to bring crap around. But really other people at work have there own choices. I know it may be hard but you just have to stick your ground and not pick up that candy. The end picture is much better then that candy. Good luck.

I didn't because ive never had problems with blood clots but its something definitely to worry about it can happen to any of us. Just stay positive and try not to think about it.
