i had a bad slip and it was completely unfilled in january and i had it taken out in april then revised on july 1st. I gained 28lbs in that time. but to be honest i didn't eat that well. it was nice to be able to eat lol so i enjoyed it because i knew i was having surgery soon. and since july 1st im down 22lbs.

My band and I have parted ways about 2 months ago i was totally disappointed that i had to have it removed after a bad slip that couldnt be fixed after a complete unfill so im making the switch to the sleeve in 1 week im so excited yet nervous something will happen to the sleeve!! I wish all my lapband friends luck and hopefully they have better out comes then i did.

thank you everyone for you kind comments and thoughts everything with the sleeve has gone well I'm 14 days out and down 22lbs so far so good. Im not on full solids yet i dont start that until august 1st. but im never really hungry.

Hello im doing wonderful. I have lost 22lbs in 14 days. im feeling great and never really hungry. im weighting in at 170 today and when i had my band removed i was 164 so im almost there so far so good. thank you for asking

yes thats totally normal just slow down a little bit and maybe smaller bites and more chewing. with a slip you would either be in a lot of pain unable to swallow or for me it was a little pain but nothing un normal but i got a little more hungry and was able to eat a lot more then i used to so dont worry.

Im having lost of spasms in my stomach when I try drinking anything is this normal because its really uncomfortable.

Tummy tuck with muscle repair is tuff ive done it but its worth it. The pain is manageable with pain meds. I say do it so your results are perfect -

Id say ask the airport staff to help you may want to say in the hospital a little bit because get up and down to the bathroom is really ruff for like a week. I wish you the best of luck. -
I feel like im not sipping to much but it just happens doctor says its normal. I hope it goes away soon too

Im so sorry your going through this I hope as the days pass things get better keep your chin up your doing this to be healthy for your daughter. She may not understand that but your doing the right thing hang in there

Yes pre op sorry I should have said that. My surgery is Monday and im suppose to be on a 3 day liquid diet well I made it threw all of yesterday but that I failed if I go liquid again tomorrow are they going to know? Im worried there will be stuff in my stomach lol

im just curious who's band has lasted longer then 5 years with zero complications? mine only lasted 2 years... so just wanna see long term how long everyone else's last. I thought id have mine forever but that didnt happen no band now for 2 months sleeve soon july 1st. -

I had PCOS before having weight loss surgery and after lossing close to 100lbs I started getting regular again and was able to have a baby which i had tried so hard for about 5 years. I no longer have PCOS just the facal hair wont go away but im regular again good luck

Ive heard this same thing from 2 different doctors that im one of the most successful paients they have seen. Now im not so much because I no longer have my band LOL but I did do very good. Congrats to you! Thats awesome and it feels great.

ya i was really really disappointed thats for sure. Ive gained 28lbs because there isnt restriction there so i know what you mean im going threw that right now.

Ya know I really didnt have much symptoms besides being able to eat more. I didnt have acid reflux at all and i wasnt in pain. I went into the office asking for a fill after a year and half not having one and they said thats not normal i should get a upper gi just to check and sure enough there it was
