Ok my sleeve family I need your help. I went to the doctor for my 6 month follow up. So let's start with the stats. I started my journey at 240lbs. Currently my crazy set of scales are reading 179.8. That is a whopping 60.2 pounds gone forever. My BMI is currently at a 30. The doctor wants my BMI at a 20 to 25. So he tells me that I need to kick my workouts up a notch. Currently I can walk on the treadmill at a 3.0 or a 3.5 and I add a incline up to a 8.0 to get the heart rate up. Do you guys have any ideas on how to continue loosing ? I was kinda bumbed at the doctor as Hate gyms...am i going to have to join a gym? Any suggestions or ideas would be welcome. Currently my diet I try to stay between 800 and 1000 calories. I try to get between 60 and 90 g of Protein and I try to limit my sugars to 30g or less. Some days are better than others. I did not fight this hard to stop now. I want to make it to my goal weight 150! I am looking forward to your help.

I track my calories on Myfitnesspal.com and I am between 800 and 1000 calories per day. If you are on myfitnesspal.com look me up my username is cgreg1277. When you track your food it gives you a great idea of your Protein, sugar, sodium. You can really see what you are doing right and what you can change. Tracking your intake is a great tool in helping you fight the weight loss battle. -

SleeveStalker replied to crosswind's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have to thank you for posting this. Out of every article I have read, every recipe that I have printed...Your thoughts are the most valuable to me. I had my surgery on 3/7 and I was 240 lbs today at a bit over 4 months I am hovering at the 193 mark...It is coming off. I make sure to use Summer to its full advantage and live at the pool as much as I can. With that being said, I do look at the people on here that are loosing at such a rapid pace that I can not help but compare myself. Thank you for posting this .... -
Hey guys I had my surgery on 3.7 and today I have a horrible sour stomach today. Not to be horribly gross I keep burping up this horrible tasting gas. I did have a Protein shake this morning made with 1% milk and I had a Greek yogurt for lunch. Any ideas?

SleeveStalker replied to SleeveStalker's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thank you all my sleeve sisters...You guys really know how to make a girl feel support...I made it. I have my pre op tomorrow with the Dr. I have to fast tonight for blood draws tomorrow and then Monday is the big day.....doing chubby back flips...I will post and keep everyone updated on the progress... -
okay someone tell me that I am not loosing my mind. I am on day 9 of my pre-op diet. I am allowed to have 5 shakes a day no solids. I can have all the crystal light and tea I want. Yesterday I wanted some broth from our local Chinese place my DH calls me after work and inquired on my dinner plans. I tell him I am going to get me some broth...yumm so he tells me while I am there to pick him up some rice and chicken??? What gives did I hear this right??Yep I did. So I go, and guess what all out of Soup. So, I get DH dinner...and I get to smell it the whole car ride home. I get home and its business as usual dinner for the hubby and child and me with my shake. I love the 2 of them, but to watch them have dinner and smell it too was too much for me. So tonight the hubby has he leftovers for dinner and to top it off...he finishes it with Boston cream pie???? Now I might not be the brightest bulb in the box sometimes, but this seems a bit like torture to see if I can hang with my new lifestyle. DH tells me that this is a lot of money to spend I need to make sure that I want to do this and I can stick with this. I love my hubby and he is always 100 % supportive ..........Is my blood sugar low ? Am I wearing my feelings on my sleeve? What is going on with me ? Any help would be great!

First Day of Pre-Op Diet.....
SleeveStalker replied to Can'tweight's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am on day 9 of my pre op diet. I have 5 shakes a day and all of the clear liquids I can drink. It does get easier I promise and if you fall off of the diet get right back on. -
Hey Guys just wanted to see if anyone can help me here. I am on day 2 of my pre-op diet and thinking that I have a huge hill to climb. I am also divorcing Diet Coke :broken_heart: the love of my life for the last 10 years. So I am not sure if I am acting like a crazy person :whatchutalkingabout because I do not have any diet coke or the lack of food that is making me crazy. I am talking full on I am ready to lick the sheet rock in my house. I am constantly thinking about food. I did the whole eat everything that I can before my pre-op diet started. I know I am rambling (must be low blood sugar)....bear with me here......Is there anything that I can do to make this process easier....My stomach thinks that my throat has been cut.....and the hunger pangs are quite noisy and feels like there is a revolt going on down there.:boom:...Any suggestions would be great...I am really thinking positive and I know looking back on this there will be some chuckles...If laughter could provide me with a doughnut right now that would be great.....lol Thanks for the feedback guys you are all great

SleeveStalker replied to VSGandMe2011 (DisneyMomma)'s topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am on day 3 of my pre-op and I am doing better, but I find that I am so tired by the end of the day. When I come home from work I am so hungry that I feel like a school kid coming home from school. I want to eat everything in the house. Today I had warm broth and some tea. Made me feel normal. I am counting down the days. Just curious if I get weak and cheat...What happens? -
