    Am I too tight???

PB'ing is productive burping but its like something productive coming up when you burp lol . When you eat something that gets stuck what happens is you burp but (i hate to sound gross) slime comes up with the burp. I helps with getting what ever you have stuck unstuck. It sounds gross but when you have that awful stuck feeling PB'ing is the best feeling. How long ago did you have your surgery? I had mine Nov 2010 so I am still kind of new at this myself. With my first fill I felt nothing and could eat everything as a matter of fact I gained some of the weight I had lost with pre-op diet. With my second fill I got alittle ristriciton but not much and didn't loose much weight either. But now with this 3rd fill I can see how I will loose weight. I was finally able to eat something last night, I now know I have to change my eating habits, like have a protine shake for breakfast, soup for lunch then I can finally eat more for dinner. Hope everything works out for you

    Am I too tight???

I got my 3rd fill on wednesday it is now saturday. I haven't felt a restriction before this fill. I can eat mushy's and I was even able to eat a little bit of bread and crackers, but I can't drink because it gets stuck and I have to PB. Am I too tight? If I was too tight then how come I am able to get down the food but not liquid? I am finally able to feel some restriction and don't want to go get an unfill. Has anybody else had this problem? And if yes how and when did it go away? Or is it that I am still swollen from the fill? Thanks

I have surgery in the tomorrow!

I was bandend on Nov 2nd and the worst pain was the gas pain. I still have gas pain but its getting better, I was given vicodin for pain but choose not to take it cuz i am afraid it will make me throw up. Now i am just really sore. Good Luck tomorrow.
  7. Hi I was banded Nov. 2nd and that day I came home and I had the worst gas pain, I couldn't even move or take deep breaths. Today is not as bad but I am still very sore. I was giving vicodin for pain but have not taken it because I am afraid of throwing up. (i have a weak stomach for strong meds). I haven't had much of an appetite for eating much so have only had popcicles and some broth but thats it. I had lost 17 pounds on the pre-op diet. I am just looking forward to be able to get back to my regular life. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day. Good Luck to you all.
