I am a 32 year old mom of three wonderful kids.  I have been overweight since age 20 I took the depo prevera shot and gained 40lbs in 2 weeks.  That was the start of my crazy weight.  I was told that I have Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia at 21 and that I had to be on steroids.  I took them for 2 years and gained a lot of weight.  Then I was told I couldnot have children.  Fooled them I had 3 in 3 yrs and 9 months.  I lost weight while pregnant only to deliver and gain all that weight back and 40lbs along with it.  Every pregnancy.  I have lost hope I found out that my insurnace would cover the lap band surgery.  I only had to be over 40 bmi  well when I started I was 49 bmi.  That was very hard for me to here to know that I was and am so close to 50% of my body being fat.  I schedualed with True Results and they sent me to Dr. Snow.  He was very well trained and he focused on weight loss he said that we will get it off one way or another we will put you in boot camp if we need.  I need someone to report to. I had my surgery on September 21, 2010, that night I called him because of nausia and the ablitly to smell like I was pregnant again.  The next night I had to call because I was vomiting everything up I could not take a drink of water with out it coming back.  Turns out my stomach had swollen shut so I had to have all the fluid out of my band.  I lost 25 lbs the first 2 weeks on the one month I gained 10 back.  I am not sure where this will go but I am hoping that I can get the hang of all this and be sucessfull my children do not need to grow up thinking that mom is fat and that is ok because it is not.  They need to be healthy so they do not get to this point.  This is how desperate mom was to make sure she was here for you.
