So I was given a post op diet and told what I can have but not how much. Yesterday I had half a cup of apple juice, 2 jello snack cups, and a small cup of broth. Is that normal. Everyday I can eat more (4 days post op). Plus I got weighed on sunday 213 and today 213 is that normal. Today i'm going to gnc to get my liquid vitamins any suggestions.

And I experience no pain when swallowing. slight slight discomfort when I take a big sip si i've ben forcing myself to take small sips

Hello everyone, If you have had the gastric sleeve plication in Mexico can you tell me who your doctor was and what the experience was like for you? I am having a very hard time choosing. Thanks.

I'm in san diego noe go to mexico tomorrow. I'm so scared. Like really really scared. The more scared I get I end up smoking. Which scares me mor because I shouldn't be smoking. Anyway i'm freaking out.

Not so scared now just nervous. Dr. Kelly awesome. Trish awesome. Hard to stay scared when when surrounded by so much faith. I wuil be tagking pictures and posting a play by play of everything from san diego to back home. The experience so far iis wonderful.but i'm ruining out with fear and doubt. Waiting to go in now. Will write soon.

thanks for the good thoughts all. Yes I have talked to shaundra she went with a different dr though. I do not understand why I feel this way. I'm actually crying. Calling my kids to tell them how much I live them and crying like a baby. Noone else feels that way?

It's amazing you took the words right out of my mouth. Thank you so much for posting this it is exactly the way I feel. easy to make the appointment now i'm scared and nervous. Do not want to leave my kids without a mom. (already no dad). Now I feel selfish.anyway thank you for that post now I don't feel like a nut. My prayers are with you. Please pray for me as well. my surgery date is friday the 11th.

I am scared. So scared. I just have this awful feeling mixed with excitement, so it is driving me crazy. I do not want to leave my children motherless. i do not know if its the fear of going to Mexico for surgery or the surgery iself. But it doesn't matter because it's still fear. I am also more scared because I am struggling with the preop diet and the not smoking. The fear is causing me to smoke and the smoke is causing me fear. I just bought an electric cigarette and it is charging so we'll see. Good luck and lots of prayers to you!
