  1. I have the calcium citrate chocolate chews on auto ship from Bariatric Advantage. I never have to worry about it. They show up on my front porch once a month.
  2. The only thing I hate now is that I can eat way more than I could eat at one year. I also hate that the sleeve is no help with junk food. I can eat Cookies, candy, cake, etc, and lots of it, like there is no sleeve. Give me a chicken breast, and I can chew chew chew, and have great restriction. It takes a lot of willpower when I'm around friends who are eating junk food.
  3. Look on the ingredients and see if it's calcium carbonate or calcium citrate. Calcium carbonate is not absorbed.
  4. I like Matrix. It's made by Sytrax, the same company that makes nectar. It has the lowest carbs and calories for 25 grams of Protein 120 calories and 3 carbs. I love the orange cream, the vanilla, and chocolate. I'm going to get banana next. I mix in all different Torini sugar free syrups to jazz up the flavors.

On The Verge Of A Breakdown!

I'm so sorry to hear about all of this. You must be so frustrated. Have you tried the Ricotta Bake that's in the food forum? I would think you would be able to eat that. I'm just trying to think of some things for more variety for you.
  6. Most people take a PPI and it controls that problem.

    Rating Protein Shakes

Most people do like Syntrax nectar. I can't remember the brand that is soy Protein instead of whey, and I know there is one made from egg protein too. Do you have a GNC, Vitamin Shoppe or a place like that near you? If not, you'll have to do a search online, unless someone else chimes in. Have you tried using any sugar free syrups? I love the coconut, and a few others. There are 2 brans, Torini and Da Vinci with tons of flavors. Try putting some of that into one of your shakes, and/or blend in frozen berries.

    Me Not So Horny......

Getting the hormone test makes all the difference in the world. I love my hormones! A lot of women probably don't know they need testosterone too.

    Isopure- Liquid Protein

Honestly, everyone has to try one at least once. Everybody talks about it, so you should know what we're talking about. It serves it's purpose very well, if you can drink it. Some say to mix it with crystal lite, and that helps quite a bit.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Greek yogurt for getting your Protein. Maybe you should try some soy Protein drinks instead of whey.

    Calories, Fat, Carbs, Oh My!

Just wondering, how does this diet differ from the Atkins diet? I am all in favor of eating low carb, but I just don't see how this is a different diet.

    Soon To Be Single...

It's easy. Just smile and be friendly! It will come naturally when you're interested in someone.

    Isopure- Liquid Protein

Most people hate it. I didn't mind it cause I didn't have to drink it for very long. It's not that I liked it, but I managed to drink it.
  14. Are you tracking your food on a program like My Fitness Pal? You should be limiting your carbs and fat, eating only healthy fats. Your carbs should come from dairy and veggies. Also, make sure you're drinking a lot of Water. Are you exercising? People say they walk a certain amount of miles every day. If they're doing that, they should be walking very quickly with some hills, and keep up the heart rate for at least 30 min. You can take your pulse, to make sure it's in the aerobic zone.

    Bathroom Issues

I used Miralax every day and it did the trick just great. Before that, I took 2 stool softeners every night. Are you using a whole capful of Miralax every day? You can't just use it periodically. You have to use it every day.

    Flatout Pizza

Which flat out do you use for the pizza? Isn't there several of those flatout breads?

    I Need Crock Pot Recipes

I love this thread! I can't wait to try some of these. Like I said, since they came out with those crock pot liners, I love my crock pot!
  22. You can change your title by your name to anything you want, in your settings. Pro pudding by body tech is a good pudding for an alternative to Protein drinks. The Vitamin Shoppe sells it, or you can get it at Amazon the cheapest if you have to get it online. there are also whey chips you can buy at vitacost.com. They are like little chocolate nuggets. I like to mix them in regular sf pudding or even eat it with milk like Cereal.

If you want email alerts to threads or certain things, you have to change it in your settings. I get emails only when someone "likes" one of my posts. I turned off all the other email alerts because I was getting too many.

20% Regain Weight After 2 Years

I do believe as far as regain, a 10 lb bounce back is considered normal.
  25. I was pretty active before surgery and I think that does make a difference with recovery. I had surgery in Mexicali on a Wed. I spend my time during the day walking outside, around the neighborhood of the hospital. There really was nothing to do in the hospital. I came home on Saturday, and went back to work on Monday. I really could not tell I had surgery, other than the post op diet.
