  1. Dannon light and fit Greek yogurt has 80 calories and 8 grams of carbs There is a yoplait one that is 100 calories and 9 carbs By the way, Aspertame turns into formaldahydye. People should google why it's bad stuff

    What Foods/Supplements Are Worth the Money?

    Syntrax matrix brand of shakes. low carb low cal and low fat, tastes great! I love the mint cookie and orange cream. I've never found a brand at Walmart that like. I love Bariatric Advantage choc. chewy Calcium citrate, but that's not Bariatric Choice.

    How was your 5:2 day today?

    It's driving me nuts not to know my exact weight. for 4 weeks! I laid my arm across my digital scale and it said 2 lbs but that's my arm too not just the cast. I think I m at 145 again. I'm going to have to write things down cause all these tenths of lbs drive me batty! 4 weeks before I get a true weight! I didn't have much trouble fasting other than wanting a late night snack, so I went to bed.

    I can't see me going 4 whole weeks without going to the gym. I know when I use the cardio machines, my fingers swell up. I wouldn't want my wrist to swell under this cast,
  5. I don't know how much this cast weighs. It's going to be hard to figure out how much I weigh today!

    fast day today. Should be easy , I am giong to do shakes all day. It's a lot harder to type now that I have this hot pink cast!

    Laura you need a fleet's enema or Miralax or something! Don;t stay backed up. It will get worse. Mrs,Skinniness you came to my town! I have a cast now & it's really hard to type now. I didn't stray from plan today so the scale better reward me. time for Big Brother!

    it will get better! One month is nothing. It takes time to get back to normal. You won't be able to eat the portions you used to eat, but in time you'll be eating small amounts of whatever you want.

    You should be on some sort of anti nausea medication. I'm sure since you feel sick all the time, you're in contact with your doctor.

    Surprisingly easy to gain weight..!

    The farther we get out from surgery, the easier it is to gain weight. I am fighting regain, and I have to be careful of every bite I put in my mouth. If I stray away and eat something off program, I gain weight immediately.

    I want one of those bikes! That would be so fun. I am going to look into that. It's too bad all of us vst friends live so spread out. It would be so fun to go bike riding together.
  14. Thanks for sharing your story! and thanks for staying here. It gets really old when you connect with someone for a long time and then all of a sudden, they disappear. We need you here! Sure living with the sleeve is easier by now, but it shows that the struggles of obesity never end.

    I'm happy that Iost the lb that I gained for no reason . I was afraid because I had a slice of thin crust pizza last night. I'm actually looking forward to fasting tomorrow.
  16. Yes, I was at goal and I am fighting regain. Every other day of fasting makes a whole lot more sense with my body. Yeah, I broke my wrist playing in the river on Sunday. I'll see the dr. tomorrow. I'll be glad to get that over with.
  17. This will be the end of hijack , promise. After all, regularity helps with weight loss. Magnesium oxide capsules. completely different than that nasty stuff you drink.

    it's really sucking that I can't exercise. I am really afraid to go to the dr. tomorrow. I broke it Sunday . I am afraid they are going to have to rebreak it to set it. I want to go to the gym but I can't cuz I'm in too much pain. The scale better not be mean to me.
  20. Take Magnesium. The lady at the health food store told me about it. It makes sense. Milk of Mag is just magnesium I take 2 before bed and it's made a huge difference.

    I can't type with my wrist brace on. I did really well today. I've had 2 Protein Shakes and Greek Yogurt. It's not a fast day. I'll have something else later. I wish my weight would not bounce all over. I want to see 140 not going up not down. I was 145 a few days ago and 147 this morning, and I haven't been eating wrong. I did my fast right yesterday. Ha Ha. People want in our group and all I am doing is gaining weight!
  22. You're right fiddle. My surgeon came to the last support group meeting. He said exactly that. We absorb food differently because it moves out of our stomachs much quicker.
  23. I fasted yesterday and gained a lb. My recommendation to anyone trying this is don't weigh every day. The scale jumps all over the place and it gets depressing. I was ecstatic to see that 2 lb drop , and I didn't go off plan and gained it back. I wish I could keep myself from weighing every day. Maybe I'll take my scale to my daughter.

    I am really bummed. I had a fast day yesterday and a gain. what is up with that. I was in a lot of pain all day, and slept a lot. I had 2 Protein Shakes and a few cherries. I don't know why I can weirdly gain like that. I am going to be really careful today. It must be Water weight because I did not cheat, but it's discouraging.
  25. I've been on it for over 2 weeks and I was over the moon when I first started losing. Now I just gain back what I lose on fast days and I am getting discouraged. I am eating around 1000 calories on non fast days. It makes me think ai need to eat 500 every day.
