You're doing great! You've lost a lot of weight. You must be in a lot smaller sizes now.:crying: I like shopping in the thrift stores when I want something new. I can't afford to go shopping. Even the clearance sales are no good when the stuff gets too big.

Do you ever worry that this is all too good to be true? I hear about people having to have their bands removed and I freak out. I swear, if I ever have to have mine removed, I am going to have a different surgery. The gastric sleeve is where they just make your stomach smaller. I would probably do that if anything happened to my band.

Nip50 where do you find dry roasted edamame? Is it in the produce section?

I don't expect it to happen very fast. I have lost 7 lbs since I got this fill in Dec. So it will probably take me another 4 months to lose 5 more. As long as I am moving in the right direction, I am thrilled.

That sounds great Mandi. I think that's fabulous that you're in a support group. I love my support group and I wish it met more often than once a month.

I did that when I was too tight. I had a very slight unfill and it's never happened since. I agree. It was horrible.

I exercise because when I don't, I find myself moody and grumpy. I was on anti depressants for years, and I was so happy to be able to go off of them. I have problems with my liver, and those anti depressants were not good for my liver. It made me really happy to go off of them, and I haven't needed them this past 4 years since I joined a gym.

A thread is just a lot of pages on the topic that was started. You should be getting emails once you have posted that tells you someone posted after you in the same subject. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. The main home page is all broken down for different areas. For instance, it's broken down into age groups, questions, food and recipes etc. This was thread was started because so many people have questions about why they have had a fill and still don't have restriction.

I really don't consider myself fat anymore either. And nobody is going to tell me to stay off the internet. I spend a lot of time here answering questions that new people ask and I don't care what I weigh or what she weighs, I plan to stay here. Sheesh!

Do you have to pay for having the tubing and port replaced? That would not be fair! I thought I had a leak once when I went in for a fill. I ended up with less restriction than I had to begin with. I think he missed the mark or something though, because I don't have a leak. I have had great restriction since my last fill in Dec.

I had been seriously trying to lose weight for 3 years before I got my band. I went to the gym 6 days a week, working out hard. I never lost any weight. It's the band that has made the difference. It gave me an extra edge I didn't have without it.

I was a self pay but it was the best money I have ever spent. I never thought I would ever see a size 12 again. Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and can't believe it's me. I really don't have much of a skin problem at all. My arms are the only place that really bother me. That and my turkey neck.
