Froggi I don't feel that way. I am sorry if someone hurt your feelings. Tell them to buzz off! -

How the Lap-Band actually works, fills and refills

Good job Shelly! I have had that pulsing feeling in the esophagus. Doctor said it was trying to pass the food. It's right at the bottom of my rib cage. -

I totally agree. I want to know what causes that. I am not tight. I can eat anything I want and I don't have to chew like I used to. -

I was happy Alex added that too. I don't feel like enough of a success story to post in there. I need to stop eating ice cream! -

So Does This Really Work For Food Addicts(experienced bandits please)
Oregondaisy replied to speck's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
The band presses on the nerve called the vagus nerve. This is the nerve that tells our brain we are full. We are able to feel full on a small amount of food. Sometimes, when I go out to lunch, I am so full for so long, I have to force myself to eat dinner. I have that full feeling like I just ate a thanksgiving dinner until like 8pm. -
Is the Hitachi magic wand an actual sex toy? Where does one find one of those and the attachment? I really don't want to go back to that sex shop I went to. The old man that rang it up looked like a real perv and he took it out of the box to put batteries in it. I really didn't want him touching it and I really wiped it down good when I got home with anti bacterial wipes. If I knew the schedules of employees there, I'd be willing to try to go back there, but there is no way I want to see that person ever again.

That's funny. I never thought it could be there some days and not others.

Those are laughing cow cheese. I spread that on Kellogs garlic & herb fiber crackers which are pretty low calorie for crackers.

Well, I sure wish I could find mine. It sounds like having a G spot would be absolutely fabulous. I have an appointment this month for my annual woman's exam so I am going to ask my dr. to see if she can find out if I have one or not. I am very comfortable with her. I have been going to her for years. She has to stick her hand up there anyway, for the annual test so she might as well look for it so I know whether or not I actually have one.

that would be great if you didn't mind finding the study for me. I have been looking all over the net trying to find out more information. I am thinking I am going to ask my dr. for some testosterone cream. I have heard this helps a women with orgasm, especially women past menopause.

You know, if my band were ever to erode, I would get a sleeve. There are so many less complications with a sleeve. I hope I never have to make that decision.

Yeah, night time is the worse time for the snacking cravings to start. I eat sugar free popcilsles and sf fudgesicles, somethings SF choc. pudding. In between meals if I am hungry I eat almonds string cheese or a lite yogurt.

That's so cool Missy. I hope it's nothing serious. Glad to hear he is feeling better. -
I finally got up the nerve to go with my BF to a sex store. We bought what is supposed to be a G spot stimulator. I don't think I have a G spot. That thing didn't do anything. It's a few inches long with a curve on the end. We rubbed it all over trying to find a spot that felt good, but honestly, I didn't feel anything.

I talked to Robin, Dr. Tersigini's nurse at the last support group meeting. She said he is still charging 12, 500.

I am glad this room got started. There are things I need to ask and have absolutely nobody in my life that I can ask these kinds of personal questions. The band has given me back my life in a way that has made me extremely happy. I know I wouldn't have the wonderful health conscience bf that I have now if I hadn't lost all the weight. My life for several years before I lost the weight was empty and lonely. I just wanted to say I am glad that we have a place that we can come and feel comfortable sharing things that we can't share with people we know in real life.

My BF and I survived our first disagreement. It was awful. We had these plans to go camping with my DD and SIL. Right up until the day before we were to leave, he was talking about what food he wanted to bring, and packing up his fishing stuff. The next day he said he didn't want to go. He was afraid to tell me why. It turns out he does not like my SIL. I can deal with that because my SIL is a great guy but can be a real butt sometimes too. I was more upset that he didn't think he could talk to me about it. Bill thought we were going to break up over this. I told him I was in this for the long haul and we were bound to have disagreements from time to time. -
