I love stuffed cabbage. That is another thing I am too lazy to make. I miss my mom's good Greek cooking! -
Hey 50 & over gang We have a new spot

I am the same way. If I tell myself I will just have one bite of chocolate, then I am out of control craving junk all the time. I don't think I am even going to buy anymore fiber one bars. They are just too good. I do fine with the sugar free fudgesicles. Phyl, I have had that problem off and on for months. I didn't think I was too tight, but I obviously was. It scares me to think that the barium just sat there for 15 min and never left my esophagus. The food must have sat in there too. I never felt stuck though, just that problem in the middle of the night. dangerous! -
A thread for Single Bandsters

Wow, Missy, our band dates are close. How is your bf doing? -
I will try the baby wipes. We don't use condoms. We tried using them to see if that improved the problem but it didn't seem to make any difference. I like astro glide too, if we need a lube. Most of the time anymore, we don't even need one. Oral sex is not the problem either. I know a lot of women really like it, but it's never done much for me. I am going to look for Northlands cranberry juice. I actually like cranberry juice. right now, the biggest problem is the yeast infections. The dr. gave me an antibiotic to use right before sex. So I don't get the uti, but get an immediate yeast infection. If I the 100% cranberry juice and the baby wipes worked, I wouldn't need the anitbiotic.

if you don't get an email, go to user cp and it should bring you right to any thread you have posted to. I was a slow loser too. It was very maddening. do a search on the 5 day pouch test. That should get things moving. Are you getting your exercise in? I am sure I would not have lost anything if I wasn't religious with my exercise.

That is hilarious!

Susan, Yeah, the 1 cc they took out seems to have cured my problem. I really would like to know how I could have been so tight and never had a single problem in the daytime. My boss bought a 6 1/2 foot Santa today to put on the porch of our office. Bah Humbug is right! I am a Christmas hater, so anyone who is also a scrooge is now my bestest friend. Maybe I will get more Christmas spirit now that I have a grandson. -
mine is sweets. ice cream or brownies to be exact. As soon as I am in a bad mood over something, I want sweets. It's very hard to control.

That giant picture that covers the screen is very annoying. The picture is cute, but when you're in the middle of saying something, it covers the entire screen and you have to wait for it to disappear.

I can't sleep in either unless I take sleeping pills. I feel really lucky if I get to sleep until 8am. That pie sounds fabulous. I need to stay away from desserts , especially since I got my unfill. -
I just ordered the cranberry pills that the dr. wanted me to order. Supposedly, they have more of whatever does the trick in them than any you can buy in the store. Believe it or not, using plain unsweetened yogurt with live bacteria works better than any of the over the counter medications I can buy for yeast. It puts the good bacteria back in there that the anti biotic wipes out. The yeast medicines in the store take a few days to work, but the yogurt works almost immediately. I would have never thought to do this, but I have spent a lot of time online researching this.

They say that hard cardio is the only way to lose belly fat.

We all felt that way in the beginning. It takes several fills to have good restriction. Just try to eat healthy until you get another fill. Do you want this to be moved to the general support section of the board? You will get more support there, and more suggestions from the newer people who are going through what you are going through.

oh yeah, it doesn't seem to matter which position. I am using vaginal estrogen cream. Both urologists seem to think my problem is from the skin thinning due to menopause. I have actually had this problem most of my life though. I got a lot of UTIs even as a little kid.

There are a lot of really good books out there if you can't afford counseling. I am always scanning the self help section at the library. Sometimes it's hard to put what I read into action though, I must admit. They at least make me feel better while I am reading them though.

My bf is a long distance runner too. He is running a marathon pretty soon. I wish I could run. I alternate between walking and running on the treadmill but running kills my back. I do it anyway because walking is so boring. Can't wait to hear about that pie. -

I know everyone thinks being tight enough is the way to lose weight. I have to say I didn't even know I was too tight and that really scares me. I was fine in the day time. I could eat anything I wanted and food never got stuck and I never threw up. I started having these episodes in the middle of the night. It wasn't every night. Sometimes only once a week. I would be sound asleep and all of a sudden start coughing and gagging. Something was coming up in my sleep. Then a couple weeks would go by and it didn't happen again so I thought everything was fine. I finally went in and had an esophagram and when I swallowed the barium, it stayed in my esophagus for over 15 min without moving into my stomach. I had to have 1cc removed to get the barium to move. It makes me wonder if all this time, the food was staying in my esophagus like the barium was. It also makes me wonder why it never felt stuck and I never had to pb. -
Alex how do you make the chat screen full screen? I still have a background of lbt and a very small chat screen.I can't see anywhere to maximize it.
-
Don't worry. I worried about that stuff too. You will still be able to eat the foods you like, just less of them. I really can eat anything, in small portions.
-
Sooverit, that is really good news! I am happy for you!

Thanks Fanny. I know you were trying to help and I appreciate that. She said we always have bacteria on our body. Why mine get out of control is a mystery to me. All I can say is I really hate this.

I can't buy peanuts in the shell anymore. I will eat the whole bag. Some days when I had peanuts in the house, I didn't want to eat dinner, just peanuts. I went out of town yesterday. I had to see a specialist that wants to run thousands of $$ of tests. I ended up eating cold stone for dinner. I am so bad.

Chewing until it's liquid in your mouth and taking little itty bitty bites is the answer to being able to eat difficult foods. I try not to eat difficult foods, but hardly anyone knows I am banded. If I am out to dinner with friends, I eat very slowly. I wait between bites, take small bites and chew until there is nothing left to chew. -
They removed 1 cc . It makes no sense to me that I never got food stuck, and never pb. He said removing one Cc should take away the acid reflux at night. I just hope I am not hungry all the time. I am having a hard enough time keeping the weight off that I lost. The esphagram showed my pouch and it's not dialated. I was glad about that.
