So sorry Dona. I was just wondering if this is just a problem for me, or is it a bandster thing.

Mac I am interested in what a days food looks like for you. I clicked on your blog, but not sure where to look for something like that. It scares me to get the sleeve because I eat really small portions already. I am afraid I will eat even smaller portions. It's hard to go to dinner with friends already, since I can only eat a little bit. Eating out is one of the only things I do socially, so I would like to know that I won't be sitting there watching everyone else eat. Right now, if I order a regular dinner, I eat a few bites of the salad, most of the meat, and a bites of veggies. If I ate the entire salad, I would be done and not be able to eat any of the meal that would be coming.

I see that. I wonder if somebody told him we have been talking about him. He certainly didn't address anything that you brought up.

Joann, those quilts are gorgeous. You are really talented. Katy, best of luck on Monday .I will keep you in my prayers. I can't remember if you told us if you will have to try to keep the weight off on your own, or did this surgeon tell you that you could get a new band some day?

Why would Greek yogurt be any more expensive than any other. That's crazy and I am 100% Greek.

Glad to see this thread moving again. It's nice to know what other people like. My life has gotten rather boring. It's better than it was though, so I should not complain. My last bf needed viagra and could not afford it. Thank goodness my bf now has no problem in that area. It amazes me how many people in their 50's just give us sex because of menopause for women, or their guy has ED.

I hate shopping. I don't see anything fun about it. It's okay if I happen to be in a store and see something I like, but to go shopping when I need something to wear to a particular event, it's stressful. I can never find anything appropriate and I hate going from store to store. What is with bansters and farts? Mine are nasty and they are frequent. It's so embarrassing. I am constantly running into the bathroom at work to let one out. Then there are those that give me no warning and come out with gusto and I am humiliated. It drives my kids insane. I do have pills I can take that are supposed to make them not stink. I have started taking beano with every meal but I don't think they help. If I am not farting loudly, I have big huge noisy disgusting burps instead.

I get the Protein hot chocolate from my doctor's office. The brand is Proti. It's delicious. I have never looked for it online. LJM I am so sorry about your friend. That has to be really hard. I am sure there are a lot of people out living their lives with no band problems. I got addicted to LBT early on, and I can't imagine giving it up just because I am getting the sleeve. I am not having the problems that Susan is having, but restriction is an issue and I am afraid to get a tighter fill. I would rather never have to worry about getting fills and unfills. I used to think that I wish I had gotten the sleeve first, but I would have never found out about it if it weren't for LBT. I've met some wonderful bandsters because of this site.

Thank you. I know I will feel a lot better if you are there. I know in my heart this is the right thing for me long term, but it still freaks me out.

Thanks. I had absolutely no pain when I had my band surgery, but I am expecting pain of some sort with the revision. Luckily, I am not against saying "bring on those pain meds" I will take anything they offer for pain and complain loudly if it does not work.

You know, I was wondering that myself. I thought I should know, but I have actually never heard that expression used.

I am excited about it. It's a painful surgery because of having the port removed, but it will be worth it. I will never have to worry about a fill or unfill ever again. I wish I had known about it in the first place. I have to think that if I hadn't found Lap Band Talk, I would not have found all the wonderful people I've found here. Alex has added the sleeve section to this board, but at the time, it wasn't here. I love this board, and I am thankful for all the wonderful friends I've made here. I wish I could meet more in person, but I have had the wonderful experience of meeting some of my lap band friends in person, which would have never had if I had the sleeve from the beginning. It's an expensive way to have to go, being self pay both times, but it will be worth it in the end!

And that is why Dr. Aceves will be doing my band to sleeve in the beginning of May! Yay! Gee it doesn't sound as cool as going on the sleeve wagon as the band wagon, but never the less, I am getting the sleeve and will never have to worry about getting a fill or an unfill ever again. Yay!

Who did your surgery? You did not have revision surgery just straight to sleeve? I am having revision and have heard that it's more painful from removing the port. Your post scared me cause I am a baby when it comes to pain!

I really like propel flavored waters. They do have calories in them, but it's only like 25 for the entire bottle. There is no aspertame in it. That stuff is evil. People should do a google search on it and read about how horrible it is for the body. I will drink propel when I want some flavor in my Water.

I really like Blue Bunny sf popsicles. They are 3 colors in one. The popsicle brand of sf popsicles have a weird texture. I love these Blue Bunny ones. I will put in a big hooray for sf fudgesicles as well. I also eat at least one sf yogurt every day. You can put that in the freezer too for another ice cream alternative.

Is the caltrate calcium citrate? I think I saw on TV an add for liquid. That would be great.

I saw Greek Yogurt at Walmart and it was like about $1.50 for a 4 oz container. Way too expensive! I buy a all natural no sugar kind and add sf syrup to it. Good stuff.

Count me in. I am getting revised to the sleeve in the beginning of May. I am sick of the band and trying to find restriction. Restriction brings puking and I am tire of that too. I hope we are there at the same time, Susan!

That was sure nice of you Phyl. I am so lazy, I don't even bother to change my sig line. I am sure I will be changing it within a couple of months though, as I am pretty sure I am going to get a revision from band to sleeve.

Yes, but also in the ladies room we also discussed why men like to have anal sex with their wives or girl friends. It was also talked about that we would ask if they preferred or liked it, what was the reason. There were plenty of gals they said that liked it although I can' t imagine why. So if they are having it, they are having anal sex with their boyfriends/ husbands. I wish some of the guys would be brave enough to post in here why they like to have anal with their sig. other. What's so special about it anyway. I have heard of a lot of women saying their sig other wanted to, but they didn't want to let them. So, it's obvious some men are asking for this.

Scrambled eggs seem to give a lot of people trouble. I don't get why. I do have to eat them slowly and eat very tiny bites of them but I don't pb on them. I am not a fan of eggs but don't know what else to order when people want to go to breakfast. Not many people know I am banded, so luckily, breakfast is not one of those meals I eat out very often, unlike lunch or dinner.

Would you all just quit posting. It's clear that I am the winner!

is Crystal Light made with aspertane? I have heard that stuff is really bad for us. I am not as afraid of splenda, but I won't drink/eat anything made with that stuff. I have read a bunch of stuff about it and it's not good for us at all.
