It would be. They had a lap band gathering once where a bunch of people met in Vegas. I am not much into gambling but it would be fun to meet there and we could all stay in the same hotel. If two people stayed in the same room, it would save money. I always see deals where you get the room and airfare together for a good price. It's just something to think about for some time in the future.

I have a lot of trouble finding Greek yogurt. When I made the pudding (this was a long time ago) I used Atkins RTD choc. and put the sf Jello and mixed it all together with my magic bullet. It was great but a lot of calories so I had to put it in little single serving size cups.

I just figured out today that I am going to add my unflavored protein powder to yogurt. Yogurt doesn't have much protein in it. I eat it for the calcium, but I can make it have more protein.

it's true. Maybe we can all meet somewhere some day. Vegas would be the perfect spot!

For crunchy things, I love apples with Peanut Butter on them. It's something I discovered a few months ago, but I haven't had any apples since being sleeved. Rosebud, do you like cottage cheese? It's pretty high in Protein and should be easy to eat. You could eat a little bit a teas. here and there, and that would help on your protein.

That's weird that wireless won't work for you. I used Dr. Campos' computer every day after 3 pm and it worked just great.

I just bought some and put them in the freezer. I am taking the Vit. D test that WASa recommends because one of the symptoms of having a vit. D deficiency is craving for sweets. I don't think the pudding cups are very sweet. I don't know about frozen, but I find the jello brand less sweet than the Swiss Miss brand.

I had mine removed just because when I had a fill, I threw up my dinner in my sleep. An unfilled band was worthless to me and I started gaining weight back. I didn't want a band that was doing me no good so I got a revision to a sleeve. I love the sleeve. You get restriction immediately without worrying about fills and there is never a worry about being too tight or too loose. I wish I had known about the sleeve to begin with. It works like the band is supposed to work. You can eat anything, but in small portions.

they get you a room at the Comfort Inn. Dr. Aceves patients get a special rate. That is where Ernesto comes to get you to take you to Mexicali. It's a nice place , too, I must add.

Just go slowly once you're able to eat. The first time I ate fish, I ate way too much and felt like I was going to explode. It was really painful and something I don't forget.

yeah, I have considered that, but I sure would like to find my keys. My daughter gave me keys to her house so I could feed her animals and I lost those. Then I used her hide a key and lost that too. This is getting ridiculous.

Your grocery bill will be cut dramatically. Although, even sleeved I still don't like to cook.

is there any way you can get revision surgery to a sleeve? With a sleeve, you have restriction without worrying about fills ever again. Do some research on the vertical gastric sleeve, if there is any possible way to have your band taken out and get the sleeve surgery.

Having a tight band is dangerous. It's not good for the stomach tissue to be too tight. Orea is so right. too loose, too tight and just right. If you can't eat like a normally, imo you're too tight. The band is supposed to make us eat small portions, not limit our choices in foods.

I love to read that people were going to get the band and read posts and decided to get the sleeve instead. Some people do love their bands and have had no problems with it. It's my opinion that it's just a matter of time, and they will be having problems just like the rest of us.

Dr. Campos brought me a heating pad. I only used it one night.

You are just like me. I was complaining that I could drink just as easily as I did before surgery. I felt hungry for a couple of weeks. Don't worry. I don't even like to eat solids right now because I get full way too fast. I eat mainly soft foods.

Congratulations and welcome to Sleevetalk. Am I the only person who got all my Protein in on clears? I am glad that unflavored GNC Protein powder didn't bother me at all.

Chances are if you would have gotten the band, you be getting a revision surgery to a sleeve like so many of us here.

I had 4 oz of lobster today. Tried to bring the steak home but my dog grabbed it out of my purse on the way home. She had a good dinner.

Well I hope it goes away because it's really getting annoying. Since surgery I have lost my keys, my daughter's keys, my dad's gold chain and my mp3 player. I am beginning to feel like a crazy person. No comments from the peanut gallery.
