Tiff when I clicked on that, there was a bar graph but it didn't show anything on it. I couldn't make any sense of what that bar graph was for and it didn't mention any vitamins.

so in a way, you could call it amputation of the stomach. And no, I don't think Alex is hoping we will forget about these links. He's done this for a reason, and it's my guess that it's because that doctor is paying more in advertising than the others.

I am glad you didn't consider this major surgery. I did. Having 85% of my stomach cut off is a VERY Big deal to me. There are many possibilities for complications and I wanted to be in a facility capable of dealing with anything that might occur. Now we should get back to the topic of his thread. Why are other doctor's names being hyperlinked back to another doctor's facility??????

It says for my age I should weigh 156 but I weigh 133 so I have lost 100% of my excess weight!

I am using firefox too and the hyperlinks are still there. Tiffy is not the only one who wanted an ICU and a blood bank and a surgery done in a hospital. I didn't even know Tiffy and this board wasn't in existence when I went to Dr. Aceves because I wanted my surgery done in a hospital and to be cared for afterwards by Registered Nurses. The fact still remains that it makes no sense to have Dr. Aceves or any other surgeon who advertises here to have their name hyperlinked to another surgical facility in any posts.

I have been lifting weights for 6 years now. I stopped for about 2 weeks after surgery. I held off doing ab work a little longer than that. I didn't see how doing squats and lunges and using the weight machines at the gym could possibly be harmful to my stomach.

it's rather annoying all right. sometimes it goes on for a long time before it will stop. It's best to learn to stop eating before you're full. If I stop when I am full at the table, 20 min. later I am completely miserable. It's hard to learn at first.

I absolutely loved Roatan. I can get the # from my daughter. We had a private tour guide for not much money and it was awesome! Belize was too freakin hot!

I was on the Carnival Valor and went to the western caribbean. It was great and I want to do another cruise as soon as possible. I would love to do a singles cruise or a dance cruise. This cruise had too many kids on spring break from college and I would have liked more people my age.

I just got back from a cruise too. I gained 8 lbs and lost it all in a few days. I was worried that I would have a hard time losing it but once I got back to my eating habits, it came right off. The food was so good on the cruise and the deserts were fabulous but back to reality here!

Gee that must be really frustrating. I had my sleeve done with Dr. Aceves almost a year ago and there is no way I could eat a half a sandwich. I hope you get this figured out.

Sliming comes from eating too much or too fast. Your new tummy is very very tiny and will not hold much food at all. When your stomach feels an obstruction, it makes a lot of saliva to try to pass it through. Your mouth fills up and you have to keep spitting it out. Swallowing it will just make it worse. Sometimes you have no choice and the extra food just comes back up.

I think you just mix the jello with the hot water like you always make jello. Instead of using cold water, chill the isopure and replace that with the cold water.

My levels were over 4,000! All I know was I was in terrible pain!

Living with the band is a nightmare. Living with the sleeve is effortless.

so far, from the sample pack, I liked the vanilla and the cookies and cream the best. I took some samples with me on my vacation because they mix so well without a blender.
