When were you banded? It's been a little over two years for me and I have about 135 lbs. if you want to chat I'm here for you. It can be tuff at times. It's nice to talk with someone that has been there.

I was banded November 2010. I lost 135 lbs. now i weigh 142.

Call your Dr. Throwing up a lot can also make your band slip.

I go to Dr. Simpson and he is a great Dr. I was banded in Nov. and have lost 60 lbs now. The day I had surgery i went home and cleaned house I felt so good. I was banded in Nov. and have no problems, I came home the same day and cleaned house. lol Gastric is so severe and I have had several clients who had it and after a few years gained it all back. With the band it's adjustable so if you start gaining you just have it tightened. Good luck and you will make the right decision.

Hi< I live in Avondale Az, it's nice to see some Az people on here. Who was your Dr.? Mine was Dr. Simpson, he's wonderful!!! I was banded Nov 16, and on my third fill. The third fill was amazing, I don't feel hungry and I lost 15 lbs in three weeks, so i'm down now 58 llb. Brittani if you have any questions or want to chat let me know, were all here for you. Email your Dr. directly, we have the same dr. and he gets back to you right away. I lived on potato soup, I bought the Bear Creek potato soup mix, just add Water. It's yummy!!!!

I got very tired of the shakes and now drink the Protein H2O its really good, it's from the Muscle Milk Products. It's a little expensive but I figure I'm saving a lot of money by not going out to eat.

Sorry your in so much pain, just keep taking the pain meds as scheduled, walking really helps a lot I had no gas pains because I walked around alot and the heating pad works good also. You may be able to call your Dr. for some stronger meds if you need them.

I heard if you raise your arms above your head that really helps. Hope it gets better.
