I have not been banded yet (December 7th) and I am planning on asking my doctor not to fill my band during surgery. I would like to recover from surgery and I don't want to be restricted during holidays. Do you eat normal bites after you recover or are you always eating the small bites that you have to chew chew chew? Did you go back to old eating habbits after surgery? does it hurt to swollow?
