I just had a sleeve conversion two days ago. Your almost in the category I was. How easy has the weight been coming off. I started out at about 510 had the lap band and lost over 100 but then gained when I had the band removed. The doctor said I had to wait about 6 weeks after band removal. It was hell. The wait just kept piling on. Do you exercise a lot? My knees are really bad and its very difficult. Could use some encouraging stories

Wow I only had to do liquid for a day before. I just had my sleeve surgery on the 18th April. Two days later I feel really good. Of course all my husbands foods looks delicious. You'll do just great. Good Luck

Hi, I had my lap band on 10/18/10 and I've only lost about 20 lbs since surgery. 50 lbs total. I feel I may have gotten my band to the right spot. I went this past Tuesday and had another 1cc put in so now i am 5cc in a 10cc band. They said I won't be getting any bigger fills after this. SInce the surgery I have not felt full or had any problems at all. I am getting very discourage because its not coming off. I really don't exercise because I have mobility problems and I know this is a big problem with me not loosing more. I have a pool and looking forward to summer workouts in the pool. There are days that I feel really hungry. Some days I don't feel like eating at all. I have had a few days where I had an evening snack - dry cereal, rye toast. I know I should't and I am trying to control it. My next doc visit isn't until 11/30/10. I wonder if I will get a fill.:thumbup:

I had my surgery on October 18 and I was 471. My 1 week visit post-op I was 446. It think it was mostly water loss. I don't go back till November 30th. Somedays I feel full and other days I feel like I'm starving. Any advice. Also, I have been telling everyone and anyone that I had LAP-BAND® surgery. Nothing to feel ashamed of. I tell them I'm finally taking care of myself and want to be healthy and live long.

I am also finishing my third week. I am starting on soft foods timorrow and I cant wait. I have been feeling hungry at night. I just eat snall amounts. I really dont feel full. Is that normal? I am also always dying of thirst after my last meal. I watch the clock for that hour and a half to fly by,

Hi, I had my surgery October 18 actually it was my hubby and I 30th ann. Nice gift I gave myself. I am now on mushy food till Monday November 1. Everything has been going really smoothly. I lost 26.5 lbs at my week post op visit. I almost fell over. I hope the weight continues to come off.
