hi everyone, Been laying low , working mostly from home on union business, luckly for me . Finding some discomfort in couple of the incisions {the larger ones}, scares are heeling fine but feels like a rock under those two spots , find it alittle hard to bend to the left side. Although not feeling really hungery, feel like i could eat , following liquid diet getting sick of creamed and pureed soups etc: any suggestions.

HI , my procedure went well, alot of soreness and dicomfort from lower gas pains, any suggestions or remedies

I was banded on the 25th of april sugery went well a little sore but have extreme lower gas pains any suggestions or remedy,s.

Found out today that during my pre op exam yesterday, NP suggested for me to have a stress test, asked the nurse today at the center at the BIDH in boston why if my other appointments came back fine, so far and they were very vague , any body else in this situation

found out today at 10am that during my pre op exam one of the np suggestedthat i have a stress test, the nurse called from bidh in boston to inform me and to make an a appiontment, my surgery is scheduled for 4/25 /07 weds, I asked why they were very vague in there respond . was Anybody else in this situation

good luck jerseydori, I willbe banded on april 25th in boston by dr schneider, at the beth isreal deconess hospital , two weeks from today, haven,t lost any more weightsteady art 320 hope to lose at least another 5to6 lbs before surgery, any suggestions.

hi everyone , My lap band surgery date is april 25th, at the beth isreal deaconness hospital in boston . It,s been a long journey but it,s worth it . I,m at the sta, ge of not hearing a thing from my ins company , other than what has not been paid yet from all the testing so far . I have met every requirement so far. Any body else in this situation. Afraid of getting so close then having it pulled out from underneath me. Also the bariatric center has not informed me of any problems with my insurance so far

met with dr schneider today for final consult. band date set for april 25th, anybody have a date in april. i have harvard pilgrim ppo, ins. i haven,t heard a thing from the center or my insurance about approvel. it,s been about a three month process from beginning to end. anybody in the same boat. wjt:)

hi , good luck on your banding mary1094,looking forward in meeting dr . Schneider on the 22nd, hopefully it will be only a month for me . It,s a long process, but it worth it. keep me posted on your progress

had my altrasound today At BIDH, everything looked good, bloodwork ok , met with nutritionist[June.S} ready to go, meeting with pych for evaluationon march 1st . after that dr,s meet to decide on if and when i go

I noticed that the majority of lap banders are female , is there a reason for that

Hi, I,m fairly new to this site, On 1/29/07 I had my first appointment at the BIDH, blood work , met with the nurse and dr. H. Already been to two info meetings, My next appointments are on 2/13/ altrasound and nutritionist. Psch eval on 3/1 hope everything goes alright, Dr H seems I,m right on schedule and should not have any trouble W/ INS with my HBP. only thing that would slow my process is the altrasound of the G/B. Anybody else near these stages.
