  1. I was banded June 3, 2010. I have lost 110 lb's to date and am hoping to lose 15 lb's more. I try not to put an end date on it at this point because I am so happy with who I am now that losing that next 15 will just be icing on the top. I have started doing P90X which I am thrilled with because I CAN DO IT! Which would not have been possible 110 lb's ago. I actually recently let a little out of my band because I find it harder now to follow all the rules and was getting stuck too frequently. I count calories and have invested in a Bodybugg. I think that is my favorite part of my band, I have so much control. I can do other diets now with success. I actually feel like I am normal now. the weight doesn't just melt off, but I CAN diet and make a difference, and I can maintain both of which were not options for me before. I have had many months where I just fight to maintain and motivation is non existent, but that's OK too I am still so much better off than I was. And eventually I get over the humps and start chipping away at the weight again. danielle b: How did your plastics go? What did you have done and how much did it end up costing you? I thought I would try P90X and see how much difference extreme working out would make before I took the plastic surgery plunge.
  2. You guys are doing awesome! I was banded June 3, 2010. I have lost 90 lbs but that is still 75% to my target goal so I am happy. I tend to lose weight in chunks. I will loose 10 lbs in a month or two and then just work to keep it off for a couple of months. Then the cycle starts over. I could probably go tighter and consistently loose weight, but I would be miserable. On my tight days I can hardly eat anything but liquids and soft textures. But I never know when I will have a tight day until I eat the wrong thing . I don't want to go so tight that my tight days mean liquids only. Only 30 lbs to my target!! WHOOT! 270/180/150
  3. Anyone else dealing with weight loss slow down? I am only loosing about 3 lbs a month and that is with strict calorie counting and daily exercise. Anyone have a good way to jump start my weight loss again. Only have a month until my bandiversary

    Weightloss CRAWLING!

    Thanks for the thoughts guys I am feeling better. I get about 60 grams of Protein a day, and about 100 grams of carbs, and eat about 1100 calories total. I have started working out everyday to work on my tone. I am also down 80 lbs. but was hoping for 100 by my bandiversary June 4th. How many calories is everyone eating a day? Am I high at 1100? Any less and I don't have the energy to do anything. I am at 9.4 cc. I have tried going up to 9.5 cc twice but both times I dropped it back down because I was sticking to frequently. It is weird though I can eat almost everything at 9.4 and nothing at 9.5. So I wish there was more restriction to keep me from eating too much but I guess at this point it's back on me Thanks everyone! I love having this support!

    June 4th surgery date Down 65 lbs currently weight loss has slowed So I am shooting for 30 more by the one year mark.

    I have lost 60 lbs. But I think a big part of it is...Age height, starting weight, etc. If you are still hungry and eating too much get another fill! I am at 9.4 in a 14oz band, and that is just right for me. It gets tight if I'm not careful with what and how I eat, but I don't get stuck so much. 9.5 I got stuck a few times a week, so I got it loosened, and now its great.
