I have decided (after a year of debating myself about this) to move forward.  I think pride is what stopped me before.  I felt like I was giving up.  Not sure why I feel diferently now but I do.  I think NOT doing this will be giving up.  Others have done this and have happier, healthier lives now.  Why NOT me?I've been off an on diets all of my life.  I've lost well over 200 lbs. (over 40+ years) by losing 40 lbs. here and there only to regain the weight ++.  I know it will be hard to lose it again but I'm looking forward to being healthy once and for all.  I've got a running list of things I want to do - or not do in my new life.  Things like - ride roller coasters, shopping and "normal" stores, NOT be asked in restaurants "booth or table".  I'll share more from my list later.Right now I'm shopping for a surgeon.  I am a cash patient so aside from wanting to be safe, I also want this to cost as little as possible.  My goal is to schedule surgery in October.I have grown children and a very supportive husband.  We've been married for almost 23 years.  I'm still very much in love and want to insure a long and healthy life because I'm having so much fun.  I can only imagine how much better MY life will be without the weight.
