You are rocking your look. Very Amy Winehouse but with colour. Bet you turn heads. VaVa Voom lady. My biggest change is colour too. My go to colour is red. A big change from the - did not want to be seen fat person who thought black hid her. Yesterday it was a gorgeous summer day here and I had on a red minidress and as I had just returned from abroad I had a great tan. Heads were spinning. Ha, I loves it. I am 66 Ha. I think my biggest change has been the ' I don't give a f**k what you think' Confidence is a wonderful. I wore a bikini for the first time ever this holiday. I chose one with a little skirt to hide my extra skin but felt fine. Well done us.

Oh god I don't know about that! I am so not confident for a bikini yet...my tits are non-existent skin bags and my tummy is deflated 😂

    weight regain after sleeve

Regain happens, and you’re clearly putting in the effort, which matters. I’m still pre-op, but from what I’ve seen here, going back to basics like focusing on protein, cutting out snacking, and watching liquid calories has helped others get back on track. Tracking everything, even the small stuff, might help you spot what’s getting in the way. You’re not alone in this.

I Want To Sleep Before 3am

Sorry you're having trouble sleeping. I know that's just making recovery harder. You probably already know this, but here's the thing: being stressed out about not sleeping can just keep you from sleeping. The first step in getting past that is just to release yourself mentally from the stress/insomnia cycle. What I mean is that you have to acknowledge that you just had major surgery. Coupled with massive dietary changes and you are going through an incredibly stressful time right now. It's normal when stressed to struggle with sleep, so the best possible thing you can do is simply acknowledge that sleep may be difficult for a while and it's okay. I would also say do whatever you need to do to get control of your pain levels. You may need to try changing out your pain meds, or consider changing where/how you sleep. As an example, even though I'm normally a stomach/side sleeper, I slept on my back in a recliner for the first couple of weeks simply because it was less painful. Finally, I'd recommend researching good sleep hygiene and implementing as many of those recommendations as possible. Right now, you need all the tips and tricks you can get. Good luck.

    Stranger in a strange land....

Thanks for the congrats. So tell me what are those "no-wanna-do" things on your list? Most women are not mind readers, lots tend to mold into what they think the man wants them to be, unless you find a solid woman that holds her own and is independent. My 28 years of marriage comes from being frankly honest, apologize later if necessary or start a conversation with "this might come out wrong, but..." Having open and honest conversation is the key to success in a marriage. Many women just want a wedding and don't think about the marriage. It takes work just like our new lives with surgery takes work. So be careful of those sneaky women just looking for a great way to have a huge party (the wedding).
