    Plastics & Pregnancy

I will say that I am super happy that I waited to have any sort of plastics once I was done having children. I breastfed both of my children for 13months plus and now that I have a BA my bewbies will stay nice and perky. I am 36 and just started my plastics journey. I have to pay off my bewbs first then I'm going in for a 360 lift and my arms, so I am hoping by 40 I am brand new tight me lol I do know someone who lost a ton of weight through diet and exercise, she spent 20k on plastics only to have children 5-7yrs later and stretched out her skin that did not bounce back and will need more surgery to go back. Also, I had a ROUGH 20's, I was in a toxic and terrible marriage that was abusive which is how I became 325lbs at one point, so at this stage in my life, I am in a healthy relationship (not married) we have kids from previous marriages and have one of our own. We have careers, a home, stability (well as much as you can in this economy LOL) All these things were important for me to have and do before I could feel to "do me" and feel good about the "my turn to be selfish". I say YOU DO YOU!!! this is YOUR time!! if you don't want to wait then dont!

Just wanted to say hello. Stumbled upon this fourn as i was looking for a new protien powder. So here is the low down about my journey so far. I Had gastric bypass on 10/15/24. My heaviest weight was 477 lbs that was in April of 24 the day i walked in to the weight loss center. My day of surgery weight was 457 lbs, as I approach my 5 month mark today's weigh in was 346 lbs that's 111 lbs in 5 months and 131 lbs since april...every day i feel better and my mobility improves. This is the best decision I have ever made!

I would wait until you are sure but maybe do the research and know where you want to go or what you want to order so you can start trying them on asap. You will definitely be able to find one you just may have to pay more than you are used to if you are particular on pattern and cut. I had a real hard time when the options were so limited. When I gained weight I said that was one plus was the cups fit in the larger sizes so swimsuits worked. Ironically because I didn’t want to wear them then 😂. Anyways, if you do a search for 34DD and 34DDD swim (just in case) you will see that they are certainly available just not in every brand and style and not always so cheap. Some will come up and when you click on it they are actually sized S, M, L and don’t let them fool you they will not work for you anymore unless its a tie back in which case a too large band won’t be an issue. I just think you deserve the absolute cutest suit (or suits 😉) that you feel like a million bucks in so just don’t put it off until too close to summer and be upset that they are a little harder to find. The one thing you do have going for you is that you shouldn’t need much support so you can wear more styles than I could. That will increase your options some. If you go in person just plan a day you won’t be rushed or a couple shorter trips, Im sure it will actually be fun so long as your not rushed. 🛍️👙🛍️

    5 Month Anniversary

Good Point! I've already lost 75lbs and even if I added up all the time I lost weight on previous diet attempts it wouldn't equal this much. Since posting this 3 days ago, I've already lost the 3 lbs I gained know I have less to lose each time is helping me get back on track. I've already come this far!

Awesome. I’m gonna have to figure out where to buy them. I found them at Sam’s club but I’m the only one who will eat them so that’s a waste.

@ShoppGirl I have never tried the plain ones! I am so not a plain girl....I need a little razzle dazzle on all my foods. So far this one and the I Southwest salsa are good.

    Food obsession!

Hey guys, The last few days have been super hard I just want to eat all the time I feel so empty! I know its mainly head hunger and at nearly 8 weeks out it is my mind fighting against the changes I have made. I miss eating more! I have had slight cravings for junk food lately but I will not eat it because I know it will do me absolutely no good and it will make me worse off. I haven't eaten any of it since before my surgery and have no plans to in the future. As a recovering food addict a little bite would be a massive trigger to eat way too much and I can't deal with that. I know I have been addicted to food pretty much my whole life but I honestly didn't think that my addiction was as bad as it clearly is. I don't regret having the surgery and having lost 2 stone 6lbs is amazing in such a short time, it's just so hard to get used to the huge life change. I am all in and will continue eating healthy unprocessed food because my body loves it and I feel so much better physically. It's taking my mind a long time to catch up though and I'm struggling. I have heard plenty of ideas about finding a hobby and doing things to focus my mind away from food but I need to face up to my food demons and learn to live with them. I don't want to avoid these feelings coming up, they need to be dealt with. So I journal when it gets too much and I post on here too. I'm just looking for some one who understands how I feel and who can tell me it gets better! Thanks again guys x

    Food obsession!

Hey sweet, I think what you are experiencing is something we all go/continue to go through! Although I still don't feel hungry very often, I crave certain tastes if that makes sense! I have found with a balance of healthy and high protein foods, I can still enjoy a treat every so often, as I know one thing that used to completely derail me was not allowing myself to indulge every now and then - it is now just about changing what we indulge in! Honestly it does get easier and easier to manage as time goes on, and you are doing amazingly already! x

    August Surgery buddies

Those sounds delicious and easy! You know exactly what you're doing! I try my best to be creative or ill lose interest but my restrictions is even higher after fasting for long hours so struggling to even eat whatever I make because the doc told me I should focus on my liquids more. But oh well, so today I made peanut butter chicken! Oh god it's so gooood! I forgot to update you guys but I've injured my hip doing a class and I've been ongoing physical therapy to cure it .. it's so painful when doing some movements. So I've been working on my steps and upper body strength training. Currently in a 10k step a day challenge and I haven't missed a day! 9/30 of 10k steps and it feels good!
