    Co-Codamol & Bypass

I’m the same. Acetaminophen do nothing for me either. My surgeon said it would be okay to take NSAIDs with my sleeve (at about 2years) if I took half a dose & didn’t take them regularly. Think it’s likely more important to eat something g before & after taking them though to protect t your tummy a little more than the average person. Like @SpartanMaker I wonder if it was too high a dose of the codeine too @Bypass2Freedom. Panadeine Forte (Australian) is a combined over the counter med but the dose is 500mg paracetamol and 30mg codeine. PS: Codeine messes with my head. I get very irrationally emotional and spacy, Drove through a red light (thankfully no one else on the road) and then sobbed uncontrollably curled up on the floor in my kitchen (very Meryl in The Hours). Was my first & only time taking it. Doctor advised to always say I’m allergic to it because of that reaction.

Yay! Really felt the visual benefits of mid-October brachioplasty today with new winter vest, shirt and scarf ensemble. I begin physical therapy tomorrow to work out elbow knots + soreness, ensure overall range of motion and optimum healing results 13 weeks out. I am pleased with the continued process and results.

Oh wow, what a transformation. It is SO hard for us to see our losses as we go along. Or to acknowledge them, and the hard hard work that went into them, even if we do kind of see them. What stops us in our tracks are photos side by side like these. No denying what's going on with you!!!!

    Creature of Habit

I cancelled my gym membership in the month I had my surgery since I wasn't going to be able to exercise for 6 weeks after the surgery and I would be away for another 4 weeks and Christmas was coming up and didn't want to waste the money (month to month membership). I need to get back into the gym, but I've not been in months so I'm going back to complete novice stage. But I have been cycling so that's at least something. I want to make going to the gym a habit again. I haven't renewed my membership yet because it will be too crowded with all they "new year, new me" types who use the gym in January for two weeks and then never again.

    Co-Codamol & Bypass

Well post sleeve alcohol has absolutely no effect on me. I figured it’s a waste of Callie’s and money and stopped drinking. Post revision I figured why try it now that I’m used to not having it

    Bypass vs. Sleeve

Definitely based on what is best for you. When I had my consultation with my surgeon, I was pretty sure I wanted the sleeve as I thought it would be 'easier' (I was thoroughly misinformed haha), but when I spoke with my surgeon, ran through my medical history (which included a high BMI, an underactive thyroid & PCOS), he advised that the bypass would probably be more effective for me. BUT, at the end of the day, it is your decision

    Food Before and After Photos

OMG this sounds delicious. Think I’d risk the bread sitting like a lump in my tummy for a bite or two (or three or four) of this sandwich.
