    New Clothes

It will happen soon don't worry so don't spend a lot of sizing down as I have found that I buy something and then a few weeks later it is too big already. Buy cheap if needed, belts have been great.

Yesss i had the exact same realisation that i was wearing things too tight before. I think clothing is one of those things that we don’t necessarily notice getting baggy until suddenly one day you realise your shirt doesn’t look right and looks huge I’m actually considering buying 2 different sizes of work clothes so i can just switch to the next size down without having to search for entirely new outfits I went clothes shopping today and spent so long trying things on and have come to the conclusion i had absolutely no idea what size i was - i’ve actually bought clothing in a smaller size than i expected 😱 feels so good ! And kind of even better that i hadn’t seen that coming It’s actually given me a huge motivation boost so i highly recommend window shopping and trying things on to anyone who feels like their weightloss isn’t noticeable to them

    Repurposed a Dress 👗

I couldn’t see anything on your mirror but your mentioning it reminded me. I did a very similar pic in my mirror to show a friend some shorts to ask if she thought they were too short and I couldn’t figure it out because the shorts and my top were black and looked like they had lint on them (a lot of lint). I kept looking down and there was nothing but when I looked into the mirror I would see it again. Well I finally figured out that it was my mirror that hadn’t been cleaned since the day before my surgery because I was a model patient and didn’t do anything like that requiring bending for. 6 whole weeks. I was like OMG that’s my mirror!! Now i’m not Suzy sparkle by any means but it’s never been so bad I thought I was covered in lint. 😆

    Slightly Dizzy = Hunger?

Just be careful to not just change to all electrolyte drinks. I thought I was doing good because I found one that had protein and electrolytes in it. Post surgery and I went to see my nurse practitioner because it was causing muscle cramps and she said too much of that electrolyte can deplete your magnesium, which causes cramps and eventually other things too. I’m sure that a few won’t see that, but I was drinking them all day because I thought I was doing the right thing getting in more hydration and my protein.

Yeah...I really need to clean it 😅 Thing is, I just end up getting distracted by cleaning other things and then it is out of my mind until I look at pictures like this one haha! Time to get the lint roller out 🤣

You guys are making me wish I was already at the point where I could get rid of my old wardrobe and get smaller clothes! I have lost about 25 lbs but I always lose up top before bottom, so I have noticed my shirts getting looser but that’s about it. 🤞🏼it happens soon!

    Plastic surgery😱👀

soooooooo I am about 10m post op and I am getting plastics at 1yr just for my boobies lol I have been weight lifting and I will say it TRANSFORMS your body. I have skin that will never tighten up no matter how much I do and eventually I will get that taken care of, but for now I have no chest area and its really really really bothering me. So FOR ME I am getting those done. I have maintained my weight within +/- 5ish lbs for about 2 months and I will continue to do so forever. In the mean time I am lifting like a mad woman and trying to tighten up LOL

    Slightly Dizzy = Hunger?

Working out real hunger from these hunger is a major learning for us all. Takes time though to work out which is which. Unfortunately you won’t get proper or true signals about hunger, fullness, etc. until you are fully healed (about 6-8 weeks) cause all of the nerves that were cut during surgery. As someone arise who really ‘ate’ two meals a day in the beginning, I too had that dizziness or wooziness, ensure up you have something before you do anything active. It will help ward if possible hypoglycemia episodes too. You may find too that your blood pressure drops which will make you dizzy, woozie or light headed, doughy in the head, find your vision narrows (lasts a couple of seconds) or at worst you may faint. Try adding an electrolyte powder to your water or take an electrolyte drink with you when you’re more active. It will give you a boost. I found it very helpful. For most people none of these things last once you are eating more regularly, eating a wider range of nutrients and are eating a little more. I’ve always had a tendency to low BP and had random episodes of hypoglycemia. Since surgery they’re more frequent. (The low BP is an every day thing now.)
