Idk about the pain and I can’t speak personally about the goal but I have been on here for almost four years and seen several people surpass their surgeons goal for them. Do not let that discourage you. Keep doing what you are doing and let your body settle in where it is happy. They honestly shouldn’t even try to predict because every single body is different and we all respond to the surgery in different ways. On the gallbladder pain note, I would trust your gut and ask another Doctor if he just dismissed it. Only you know what your pain is. And in terms of the joint pain, maybe see what a chiropractor says. Maybe your body is off balance now because our posture is so bad to compensate for the weight and it may not have gone back on its own. Just a thought.

I have absolutely NO boobs left. I was a DD and now I just have empty skin sacs. OMG I hate it. And my poor booty just went and effed off. We don't know her anymore. All saggy and flat now when I use to have a bubble butt.

Hi Friends. I’m here asking for help with a sample daily diet. I had GB In October of 2019. Highest weight 305. I got to 217 within a year and have slowly gained I’m sitting at 241 right now. I still have some restrictions but I think I’m just all over the place. I need a re-boot diet. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? I tried going back to my post surgery diet but having a hard time. I feel like I’m blowing in the wind, some days I’m vegan, some days I’m low carb. Ughhhhh Side Note: I still feel good and my labs are perfect now.

Not sure if anyone else is in desperate need of variety of healthy food but I know if I’m gonna stick to this this time around I need to be able to have more meat and veggies. Anyways I Found a really good site for recipes that I thought I would share in case anyone is interested. There are some shake and purée recipes but mostly regular and soft foods There also isn’t much organization to it but there are pages and pages of recipes and some look really good….to me at least. It’s bariatricfoodie.com

Hi hi x The protien powder and premade are all approved. Low cals and less than 2g of sugar so that's good and also my protien soy milk is less than 2g sugar so it fits the criteria and since inputting all that I eat n drink on MFP, I am mindful but alil more guidance would be appreciated. On Sunday (first day of the week here) I'll try to get in touch and demand some attention from either surgical team or anyone!

@ShoppGirl I used mild salsa in my refried beans. One can beans and 3tablespoons salsa pureed. Measured 1/4 cup into individual bowls and a small sprinkle of mozzarella on top. Yummy! The ricotta bake is so popular in my house that I have been making full size servings for the family. Haha They love it. One thing my dietician told me was to only use canned chicken, or boil my own. She said baked/fried is too fibrous for puréed or soft stages. She also said when I start soft foods (next Monday) to only eat mushy carrots, green beans, or instant potatoes. For fruit, only peaches or pears in their own juice.

    Should We End Obesity?

Neither of those drugs is going to "end obesity" when obesity can be a symptom of poor economic status and they cost almost $2000 a month in some cases. Maybe ending obesity for the wealthy but for the average person you see in Walmart? No.
