I agree with the others - we're all different, and several factors play into your rate of weight loss (most of which you have little to no control over), but that said, that sounds like a terrific rate of loss! You're losing it much faster than I did.

Thank you so much! I'm a little better today. I'm thinking it's muscular. 💕

I think I over did it! Help!!

Sounds like you may have got a little over confident. It’s easy to do when you finally start to feel better. Would you say the pain is muscular or something deeper (abdominal)? Think if you didn’t experience the pain while you were weeding or straight afterwards & you only really felt it today, it’s likely muscular. If the pain isn’t easing by tomorrow or you start to experience other symptoms I’d probably check with your local medical centre (hospital since it’s the weekend). All the best,

    What Made You Smile Today?

You know what's funny @ripburn? I was never a morning person. Always woke up tired no matter how many hours of sleep I got. After WLS; I wake up 6/7 in the morning, ready for the day. No problem. So I'm smiling right along with you

There are so many factors that play a role in the ideal rate of loss for an individual I would ask your team this question since they have all the information about you and your history.

    New obsessions

I like the good culture cottage cheese. You might want to try the plain good culture cottage cheese and put some berries on it.

I put my surgery day weight in my stats instead of my highest weight because I wanted to track what I was losing since the actual surgery. But if you look at my signature, you can see what my numbers were, and they weren't pretty by any means. Everyone loses at a different weight. It depends on what we have going on with our bodies. It took me 2 years to lose 200 pounds. Some on here have lost more than that in that same time. Some have lost a lot less. We can't compare ourselves to anyone else. HAVING SAID THAT..... you lost, from your surgery date, 367 pounds - 294 pounds = 73 pounds lost. In 4 1/2 months. That's an average loss of roughly 16.5 pounds per month, or just a hair over 4 pounds per week. For reference, I lost 79 pounds by 5 months out. So you're very close to where I was. Don't lose hope or feel discouraged. You're doing well. Maybe try hitting the gym once a week and also going for a nice long walk once a week. You'll see the extra movement really helps a lot, too. Stick to your protein first, then veggies, then carbs, then healthy fats and you'll also do well. If you can't get the protein and fluids in at the amount you need, do your best. Supplement with a protein shake for now, on top of the rest of your foods because that counts for both.
