    Protein Shakes Too Foamy

That is normal with Isopure, even the fruity ones. Make it ahead like suggested before, it should be gone after 3 minutes or so.

    Itchy, red incisions

Glad you are on the other side of it. I'm almost 5 weeks out, and you can still see where the horrible redness and reaction was.

Or when they keep trying to take your plate because you have to eat slow and they think you are done!!!

    Always Low Energy

I would have an electrolyte drink too. I used Hydralyte. (It was pretty sweet for me so I doubled the water I added to make it up.) Would take a bottle with me to work or on busy days to give m a boost. I still have some on hand just in case.

I didn't feel any restriction until I started on solid food. Soft food went down easy for me. I had to be mindful of my portion sizes. Also cut nerves after healing will let you know. I'm glad it showed up. I was worried too. My hunger is gone and hoping it stays that way. I can enjoy my small portions and feel satisfied not to want more. Glad to hear everything went well for you.

    Always Low Energy

Try using an electrolyte drink like Drip Drops or Liquid IV. I was feeling this way & a naturopath suggested that for me. She said I looked & felt “punnie” (sorry don’t know how to spell that). Using one stick of Drip Drops a day has made such a difference for me!

If I didn’t want others blabbing my sleeve surgery I got June 21, 2023 to other people they trust with their secrets… I better just keep quiet. My closest best friend of 15yrs knows and my fiancé. That’s all….. I feel bad cause I haven’t even told my parents or sister..yet. I told everyone including my coworkers I had Hiatal Hernia repair (that covers why I was in the hospital and why I was off). I am getting married Sept 22, 2023. I just tell coworkers I’m on some crazy awesome bridal diet. Lol … of course they ask “what type of diet”. I just say low calorie, low sugar, low fat, smaller portions, no fast food and walking. I’m not completely lying …right? Lol But in a few months I do plan to tell my parents and sister. The guilt is killing me! Lol :)

    No microwaving???

I feel like a lot of practices write their guidelines with the expectation that you, the bariatric patient, are the single dumbest person who has ever walked the earth. If there's even the slightest chance that something could be problematic for anyone, they'll just forbid it for everyone, because you can't be trusted to, like, adapt or think or anything. And maybe they actually had a patient who was the single dumbest person who has ever walked the earth. That person put a piece of chicken in the microwave and let it go for 60 seconds and still choked it down, but then they got a tummy ache. Now no one gets to have warm leftovers. Maybe they had one patient who thought that 'black coffee" meant a triple-caramel venti machiatto. Now no one gets to have no-cal brewed caffeine beans. Maybe they had one patient who guzzled full-sugar Mountain Dew by the bottle post-op. Now you can't have a sip of champagne at your wedding. My dietician told me I can't have soup, because some people have trouble with it. Great, that's terrible for them. I've perfected my soup technique and I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to balloon back into super obesity because I had a cup of chicken noodle, so leave off.
