Erin, I’m glad I’m not the only one reading and watching everything! I said almost😂. Nearly every drink I used to have included caffeine. The headaches were awful, so I knew I needed to wean myself. I’ll let you know how the vacation liquid diet goes. 😬 I can only imagine how the next vacation will be post surgery. thanks for the support!

Puking my guts out today :(

I find I can have a little sip or two of water after an attack but I am a lot further out. You can try & see how you go at the moment @Cheesekitty7. Some people do struggle with eggs in the beginning but it usually passes so that could have been the cause of yours - just your tummy saying nope. I find the foamies can be delayed and can occur 15+ minutes after I’ve eaten or drunk too @brandiwine. Don’t know why. I’ve always put it down to just me. What is it with scrambled eggs at the moment?? They set me off last week too & I’ve never had trouble with eggs. Just my quirky tummy keeping me on my toes.

    Sleeve to RNY

I too am scared of losing too much weight with a revision. I had the sleeve done in 2014. I'm 5'4" and my lowest was 102. After 3 years I hit my happy spot of 115. I've stayed there for the last 6 years. I'm intentionally gaining now for fear of going too low. I'm at 125 right now and do not yet have a date. I've already had EGD and upper GI series. I just had my manometry done on the 20th and my pH with Bravo is on the 29th. He will submit to insurance after that. I'm really really scared and wish there was another option besides bypass but the 3 doctors I've seen say bypass is my only option. I'm glad to see you're doing well, and hope that I do too, but I sure am scared.

    Food Before and After Photos

strawberries and ketchup chips. ya, i know, kinda weird. i was in a rush out the door and i was hungry. 188 calories. ate it all. Lesson for the day: keep healthier options around for a quick grab, lest you lunch becomes strawberries and ketchup chips. 😜

I really tested myself tonight. I order Chinese on Fridays. I usually order meat and veggie dishes like Broccoli Beef/no rice since surgery in April. Tonight, they got my order wrong, and I ended up with Kung Pao Chicken. It's deep fat fried and contains sugar. But I didn't want to deal with going back and well... I was curious. I decided to try it to see how my body reacts. I stopped before getting full and so far, no dumping. I guess I'm not part of the 30% who dump with bypass. Not sure if that's good or bad but I don't plan to continue testing it. I'm enjoying watching the numbers on the scale going down way much more.

    Sleeve to RNY

I'm going to be getting my revision sometime in July. My surgeon said that with the revision, expect to lose about 40-45% of the weight you would have lost if it was your original surgery. So he said I could expect to lose about 60-65 pounds in a year for my current weight and BMI. I lost 116 pounds in a year with the sleeve, so if I can lose another 65 pounds in a year with my revision, I'll be ecstatic. I'm really good at watching my diet and working out, so I think my "dream goal" is to lose 75 pounds in a year with the revision, but my "realistic goal" is the 60-65 in a year. We'll see. I would be lower than I am now if I hadn't run into so many complications and health issues. But this revision is going to get me back to living my life so I can refocus on my health and weight loss.

    BMI 35 and MGB

Hi ViaLia, your English is beautiful and May I say in my believed self ignorance - blissfully envious of what my understanding of your native language would be. I wish I could learn a second language. my BMI was 37 I think on 10th February this year. I’m nearly 13 weeks post op from MGB. I don’t personally ‘believe nor respect’ the BMI system BUT this is merely my opinion due to a study of medicine. It’s nothing mire than a mathematicians equation so I go off some weight loss, more so on how I feel and look. I do measure myself every week, keep a journal and eating diary but don’t really step on the scales unless prompted. im not the ideal person to comment though at the moment as I have struggles currently but I wanted to wish you Good luck and all the health in the world on your life change and happiness. 🥰🥰
