    TMI problem, vomiting and diarrhea

Did they do a CT scan? With the fast heart rate, they really should be checking you for a pulmonary embolism. Not being able to keep down water, with diarrhea and vomiting, it is definitely concerning and may point to a blockage or stricture. I agree with @catwoman7, you might want to get back to the ER. Of note, I had diarrhea the ENTIRE time I was on liquids - so I'm not surprised there. But, I only had vomiting for a day or two after surgery.

    2 Days!

I've really been so busy I had to stop and look at the calendar to realize my surgery is in 2 days! I'm already down 11lbs from the pre op diet. I'm too excited!

    Manage Sleep Apnea

Thanks to those who responded. How encouraging to know that surgery resolved the apnea. I can't imagine how freeing it must be to no longer have to wear that mask every night. Congrats!!

I'm 6 weeks out and have asked my doctor the very same thing!!! He said it was a major surgery and it can take "awhile." I'm a little disappointed in that answer because I feel like a bump on a log. Doing simple things is draining and I feel so foggy all of the time. I'm supposed to study for boards but I feel like I can barely think straight! I'm sorry you're experiencing this but I'm glad you mentioned it because I thought I was going crazy!

Heyyy! I'm 5'2, my highest weight was 295 but I was 200lbs the day of surgery. I'm 8 months post-op & I'm now 133lbs (I surpassed my goal weight, I'm now aiming for 130lbs) At 2 months post-op I was also down 21lbs! Yeah it feels slow in comparison to others but sticking with it & being STRICT is what helped me get to my goal weight in under a year. Seriously, take advantage of this honeymoon stage. You may think your journey is slow but every little ounce ads up FAST

It does get better when you’re eating more & a more real food balanced diet. But when it will happen for you ant be predicted. There’s no specific timeline. And you may find it happens randomly for a few months after too.. Mine persisted for a couple of months. I found an electrolyte drink helpful & would take one with me if I knew I would be doing a little more that day or when I’d have to be more active. (I drank hydralyte & would dilute it as I found it too sweet.) Generally look at it as a sign to take it easy while you’re healing & your body is coming to terms with the changes.

    My tummy tuck experience

I was at goal for slightly over 2 years. I remember reading that it is good to wait at least a year but there are people here on BP that did not wait and did great. One of the bonuses with a TT is they do a mons pubis lift so that issue is corrected. 😊

    Facial wrinkles

I am down 50 pounds, 40 in 2 1/2 months. The problems are in my upper cheeks near my eyes and lower jaw and neck. Even my family says I look bad. I wear a CPAP which straps go across my upoer cheeks; there are horizontal indentions there. Should I do facial exercises, add hyalauronic acids & change the CPAP. This is scary!
