    Any April Surgery Dates?

Aww Steeler. Hope you’re ok. I have Fibro too so I hear you. Easier said than done but try and relax. The stress only makes it all worse as you know. You’re going to feel so different in a week or so! You got this.

I find your issues with attention very relatable; I am happily married (and demisexual) and the attention is absolutely unwanted. There are times I wish I could zip my fat back on when I go out alone.

    Pre-Op Diet Hell

Great answers here. I actually got the stomach flu the first few days of my pre-op diet which was hell, but in some ways, an easier way to kickstart the process. The caffeine withdrawal sucks and I actually eased into that a bit pre-op (with approval from my nutritionist). But was fully off caffeine by surgery. Listen, this is a really tough process. It’s okay to be sad and scared and depressed. Remember tho your “whys”. Why are you doing it? Because if you stick with the program, it *will* result in weight loss and will change your life for the better. Some days will suck, especially at the beginning, but you can do this!

My theatre youth definitely has helped me in life to mask my introverted social anxiety - not always successfully, but I've muddled by! I've never been good at the whole flirting thing, and am that person who has no idea someone IS flirting 99% of the time. So if anyone has flirted with me now that I'm skinny, I haven't twigged. Mind you, the thin-aesthetic I've soundly embraced can best be described as "androgynous lesbian android", so I think that's successfully staying the hands and minds of straight men. Which I'm definitely more than ok with! (And also likely passed my sell by date. At the very least I need a good sniff first.) To the OP: I definitely think you need to unpack this with a good therapist who can help get to the root of what's going on.

    March 23 buddies yet?

I haven't heard of that. I am so sorry. I eat a lot of sf popsicles. Can you keep those down?

April 25th here... still powering through the 2 week preop liquid only diet... Tuesday can't get here fast enough. I made the mistake of eating half of a small salad (it's my birthday for goodness sake)... and I'm paying for it, bigtime. Back to the liquids... lesson learned

I use the Bariatric Pal One Daily multivitamin with iron. I also supplement with calcium chews and a collagen/biotin gummy. So far, so good.

This must be a very new procedure in the USA, I’ve never heard of it. Causing intentional gastroparesis does not sound like a safe idea for numerous reasons. Not to mention this would have to be a very deep injection and the chances of injection the wrong area would be much higher.
