    Post op Upset stomach

It might just take more time. Try again in a few days. For the 1st year my daughter couldn’t eat chicken without it upsetting her tummy. Now she has no problems eating anything! She is 4.5 years out. The only problem I have is getting sick when I eat too much! I am 5 years out.

I’d probably avoid the butter to keep things low fat but the little in your portion of mashed potatoes is probably okay. It is only one meal. But check your plan to be sure. Plans are so different - I wasn’t allowed potatoes, apple sauce or puddings & then I chose not to reintroduce potatoes (though a couple of times a year I may have a bite or two of a roast potato).

    6 months Post.. stomach pain!

Is it on a particular side? Gall stone pain is on the right side & radiates around your back. Your can mild pain or you can get severe ‘oh my avid am I dying’ pain. A cutting like pain across your abdomen can be excess acid. I’d push for some scans to be done sooner than later. It may only be muscle strain but better to be sure than not & be tested if necessary. No one wants or needs to experience persistent pain.

Are you and is your health worth the minor inconvenience of a 2 week liquid diet? Think of it as a 2 week mindset reset. Remind yourself that every 10lbs lost takes 20lbs off your knees and less strain on the rest of your body. You can do it.

Maybe a WLS board is way too biased to really answer this question neutrally. I personally think that even if it's possible to lose the weight and maintain it that it will most likely be much more of a struggle in comparison to having WLS. However, WLS has its downsides as well, e. g. possible complications both directly and indirectly linked to the procedure. What you can do is go to the appointment and follow through with the program/plan they have to offer. You can back off anytime if you want.

    Should I get surgery

Yes, you are definitely working yourself up lol If you know it's the right thing for you, don't psych yourself out. I am one of the very unlucky ones that has to have a revision. I never had gerd or reflux before my surgery, so I chose the sleeve. I have LOVED my sleeve. Unfortunately, it caused horrible gerd that also caused gastritis and esophagitis, so I was put on 80mg of Nexium. I've been on it for 7 months now, and it caused polyps all through my stomach. I've had 2 surgeries to remove them, and now nodules all through my duodenum, which also have to be removed. Once they are, I'll be cleared to have my revision to bypass. I'm told that should take care of the gerd, which will allow me to get off the Nexium, which will stop the formation of polyps and nodules. I still don't regret my sleeve. I've lost over 110 pounds, gotten off all 3 of my diabetes meds, gotten off my blood pressure med, my mobility is way way better, I work out 5 days per week, all my labs have come back normal repeatedly, I can honestly say it's still the best thing I've ever done, even with the complications.

Does Nioxin help with hair loss

I never tried Nioxin. Personally, time is the only thing that worked for my hair loss. And I tried everything-shampoos, biotin, etc. Don't get discouraged! It is only temporary and it will grow back.
