    I'm so cold!!!!

Does anyone else get cold super easy after surgery? I used to tolerate the cold with no issue, but now I walk around my house in a hoodie and sweatpants. and even sleep in that at times. That is something I previously would have never done. I hate the restriction, but my god, I am always cold now.

    I'm so cold!!!!

YES I used to be a polar bear. I never even wore socks around the house during the winter, never wore sweaters, etc. Now I sleep in socks & sweaters, I'm constantly cold. Though I kind of hope this means I'll tolerate California heat better

    I'm so cold!!!!

it's really common. Something about the surgery evidently affects your inner thermostat. I had that issue the first few months after surgery, but I don't any more. For some people, though, it's permanent.

    Psych Eval Format

It was smack in the middle of Covid so it was a telephone chat. It cost me £150 and I felt it was a total waste of my money and time. It lasted about 10 minutes. I have had issues in the past with depression and worried what would be made of it. I was never asked about it ! I worried over nothing

I had the exact same copay through BCBS. I saved as much of my money as I could before my surgery day. I was sleeved November 7th and I'm just shy of thirty pounds lost. I have a new zest for living and a deeper sense of purpose. I'm able to exercise 60 minutes a day and know I'm well on my way to the best version of myself. I too was very very overwhelmed with my copay but if you want something enough chase it. It's worth it. Breathe and remind yourself why you want this so bad. Scheduling surgery question

Once my insurance was approved, I then had to have some pre-op testing done before surgery was scheduled. Mine was approved the end of June and with some delays by the surgeon - I didn't get surgery until 10/18. If there's a wait - take advantage of it to prepare yourself for life after surgery. Work on any eating issues you have - emotional eating, boredom eating, etc.
