No, not just you. Been exhausted for days. I’m blaming the stress of Christmas prep & eating too much. Don’t think I was anywhere near my fluid or protein goals for days plus too much sweet stuff. So glad to get home yesterday & my routines. Also excited to cook & eat my food tonight after restocking my fridge with vegetables & non Christmas meats today. Thank goodness Christmas is once a year.

Work was so damn exhausting. We're (chronically) short on staff and yesterday and today were the first two days since a long time when things were really going slow. I'm on vacation now until January 8th.

Thank you. The dry mouth thing is already a problem since this liquid diet.

    Hi Everyone!

Hi Hannah, welcome to the group! I was sleeved 13 months ago and I don't know what I would have done without the folks here, it's an amazing community. From the stats you hit a low of 140 and are now 148 at 8+ years out? That's absolutely amazing. I'm sure you know, lots of people (most?) regain 5-20lbs in year 2 or 3 so maybe 148 is your new set weight - is that possible? How does it feel 8 years on? Do you still get help from your sleeve to maintain?

I would say don't overpack. I was sent home the same day after my vsg, and for the rny revision, I went home the next morning, about 24 hrs after being admitted. Basically slept till my release. What I found necessary was a very loose outfit that you can slip over your head, comfortable shoes, your cell phone, necessary ID items and a small pillow for bumps in the road for your ride trip go home is really all I needed.

    Post op plastic surgery

Hold off on the eyelid lift @Sunnyer too. I had hooded eyelids, waste of time wearing eyeshadow, & had often mused about getting an eyelid lift. But somewhere in my second year I suddenly realised I had eyelids. That fatty skin that folded & drooped over my eyes was greatly reduced. I spend a fortune on eyeshadow now. There’s some saggy skin around the eyelid but much in the words of @ms.sss, I’m 57 I should have some lines. I decided against fillers in my marionette lines @loridee11 because I didn’t want the puffy face look. I worked hard to get cheek bones & facial definition. 😁 but as I said the filler in the hollow in front of my ears did help with depth & length of the lines. Not the most flattering pxt but look I have eyelids. (Ignore the dark bruised eye circles. They’re curtesy of my glaucoma drops. 😩) The labial fold line on my left was as long as the one on the right which was longer too. The marionette lines from my mouth changed much the same way. Oh and the slightly pursed puffy upper lip is the Dysport lip curl.
