    Life after 168 pounds down.....

Thanks for the confidence booster! I'm not so self conscious anymore but i carry a lot of my weight lower body more so my legs and that's always been something that made me self conscious. It's becoming less and less now i'm at a point where i want to get married we put it off because of surgery my parter told me just to say the word and we will do it. I'm really starting to look forward to the future.

    Stalls??

What time frame did y'all hit the dreaded stalls? My first was at 3 weeks. I'm at 15 weeks now and trying to see if I'm in a stall or doing something wrong. Sleeved 4/26. SW 216 CW 188

While you cant change your PCP... you can always pay out of pocket to see another one... Most of those visits are just a couple hundred bucks.

I didn't buy any travel or catastrophe insurance. I got a quote and it was crazy expensive. I figured I had done my research and made the decision, so the insurance was a bit overkill, but I completely understand why some folks get it. I've posted here a few times about my surgeon and experience, so I won't bore you with the details, but feel free to check out some of the other posts for personal experiences!

Thank you so much! Oh, definitely not covid. Don't have any other symptoms at all besides this annoying cough. I don't have the burn in chest and throat but last night I did have the "something stuck in my throat" feeling. I'm on 40mg ppi's too!

    Anyone stopped losing?

I lost 55 after surgery (238 on 3/21) and then I stalled at 4 months PO. I have not lost one single pound since 6/20. It is frustrating 😩

    Anyone stopped losing?

I am 11 months post op and I seem to have stopped losing. I am still exercising and counting calories but nothing seems to move the weight lately. I lost about 113 pounds which is great but was hoping for just a bit more to get below a bmi of 25

    Anyone stopped losing?

revisions always seem to be slower than virgin surgeries. That said, you can always lose more weight by cutting calories....I mean if you're willing to do that (I know I could lose more by cutting them, but evidently I'm not willing to do that because here I sit....still 10-ish lbs heavier than what I want to be...)

I was told dumping for the sleeve was getting the feeling like something stuck in my chest. I’ve had it a couple of times along with feeling nausea and even throwing up if I eat too much or something with too much sugar. Once that happens I don’t eat those foods again.

Thanks so much for the insight! They are getting me in on a Friday and my surgery is on Tuesday so I hope the results come back soon. I just want to know as soon as possible to be able to focus on what I need to do! I am hoping for a quick answer!
