Literally the brand is Naked Bone Broth "Protein Powder Supplement - Naked Bone Broth – Naked Nutrition" they are great. Clean product and transparent company! And I mix it with the veggie Better than bouillon. Its like a warm hug hahah.... looks like I cant attach the link. but if you search whats in quotes, you will find it : )

OMG I just had a salad for lunch and now want this for dinner! Yes, veggies are your friend during the pre op diet. They will be your friends again after you are fully healed. Yumm.

The fairlife protein shakes taste like melted ice cream to me... def. my favorites. I also really enjoy the clear protein20 drinks (there are 2 options with 20g of protein and no caffeine).

VSG Surgery stay - same day or multi day?

I had the sleeve surgery in 2015. Went home the same day. Outpatient. Sent from my SM-S908U using BariatricPal mobile app

re: the fear of dying = banish that thought. You're not going to die. Weight loss surgeries years ago were dangerous, but they just aren't anymore. Techniques have vastly improved, and these have become very common, routine surgeries. They're really no more risky than any other abdominal surgery. The mortality rate on gastric bypass is 0.3 %. It's even lower for sleeve. So you have at least a 99.7% chance of not dying. Those are excellent odds. Better odds than hip replacement surgeries, and they do those all the time. Honestly, you're more like to experience complications and death by remaining obese than you will be having the surgery. the pre-op diet is tough - and the first few weeks post-op can be tough, too (although in many cases, the pre-op part is worse). But you'll be through this before you know it. I would have this surgery again in a heart beat. No regrets whatsoever.

My stay was one night. It was supposed to be two but I was doing well so they let me go early.

    Hmmmm

yes - I know. But she asked the following question near the end of her post - so I was responding to it: "just out of curiosity has anyone had a bypass and went to sleeve?"

    1 month post op

I don't have anything to add from what has already been covered above, but did want to say if you've lost 35lb since surgery you are doing exceptionally well for your start weight all ready. And even if not since surgery you are still doing great!

Both of these have caffeine and 30g of protein, and actually taste REALLY good: https://www.amazon.com/Fair-Life-Fairlife-Nutrition-Protein/dp/B09HPH4M7M https://www.walmart.com/ip/Premier-Protein-Shake-Caf-Latte-30g-Protein-11-Fl-Oz-12-Ct/579385346
