    Kinda annoyed and confused

Once you get on to real foods your restriction will kick in big time. At 2 months I was still struggling with the liquids so had to eat 5 tiny meals. I would average 400 Cals a day. A meal the size of a egg would be my limit. If you are getting your liquid and protein allowance then you have no need to worry. At almost 6 months I am fine with the liquids and my protein allotment but have no room for vegetables or carbs. I saw my dietician last week and they were thrilled with my progress and said its a bonus that I have such a restriction. I have 4 meals and 800 - 900 Cals a day ish.

I’m not disagreeing with anyone else, but maybe your attitude toward yourself has changed as well which could also cause him to be more attentive. If you gave off vibes of disliking your body perhaps he picked up on it. You might be more confident now and that is showing to him. I feel more able to move around and enjoy myself than I did before although I still have a lot more to lose. These are simply some thoughts on my part. It’s sad if he just didn’t find you attractive and avoided you because you are the same person inside as you say. It’s great that you are working on things in therapy. I didn’t feel like I deserved anything from anyone for a long time, but therapy did help. I also did everything for my husband for a very long time and thought that I had to be super wife. We split chores and stuff much more equitably now.

    Outpatient surgery?

I'm getting a sleeve on June 30. I am self-pay as well. The price point was right at 12k. Mine will be an outpatient procedure. Luckily I live only a few miles from the location. Sent from my SM-G975U using BariatricPal mobile app

    May Surgery Buddies

Hi, I’m a little late to this post, but I had a revision SADI on May 2nd. Doing well - just still feeling weak after doing anything though, but pain is minimal. ☺️

I set the bar very low for him. He has become accustomed to putting minimal effort because I automatically pick up the slack. It is one of the things I am working on in therapy. I think he loves me. He has never commented on any other area because I have everything handled. He has a substance absue problem which he thinks is under control. There is a lot which got us to this stage but its just sad that after all that we have been through (losing our first born among other things) that the affection that I have always wanted is happening because I am losing weight. I wasn't think when he married me. I appreciate the share. Thank you Sent from my SM-G986B using BariatricPal mobile app

I still have a shake for breakfast every day. I drink the caffe latte by premiere protein and it has caffeine in it so it’s like really having a latte.

    Let's chat

Have you tried the clear protein drinks. Post op I didn’t like the sweetness of protein shakes anymore and I did much better with the protein waters. Also, if you are allowed caffeine and you like coffee. Do yourself a favor and try the premiere protein caffe latte. It’s so good I still drink it over a year post op for breakfast daily.

    May Surgery Buddies

I'm feeling very good. I never had gas which was surprising. My pain was managed very well. 1 week is plenty of time off (office) work. Being on full liquids really opened my food opportunity. I think I am an exception to the rule with how well I am doing.

    May 2022 surgery?

I am on day 1 of liquid courage and surgery is May 10! What a crazy, emotional roller coaster.
