    June 2022 surgery buddies

My surgery is tentatively set for 6/6 pending insurance. My biggest struggle right now is my surgeon wants no protein shakes. All whole food. I don’t know how many eggs I can eat.

    First stage liquid diet

If it Feels like you are working at fluids all day then you are doing it right. You are taking small sips all day long vs guzzling large amounts a few times a day. You will get used to it. It just takes a bit of time.

    May 2022 surgery?

LOL! Monday, Tuesday…🤣…whatever! Don’t question the ‘not scared’ part…just enjoy it! I agree with you about feeling excitement at taking back your life. It’s only the past 10 years that my weight became an issue. I was underweight most of my life…I was a long distance runner. Then fertility drugs, thyroid issues, etc., etc., and ⚡️100 lbs overweight. I can’t wait to get my life back. A close friend of mine had the sleeve in October. She’s down 90 lbs and says she has never felt better. And she looks amazing! I’m so ready! No surgery date yet, but 5/16 I have a visit with the surgeon and we should be able to set a date at that appointment. I’m hoping for 6/13 or after because school is out by then. Good luck to you on Tuesday! 🤗

It’s been almost 9 months for me, it’s a 6 month program. Hospital has been working on a selective surgical schedule until recently due to the Pandemic and have been behind. I started my liquid diet yesterday. My program technically Ended in February as eligible. Don’t bank on anything so you don’t get upset. I wish you the best of luck
