    Keeping up with liquids

I struggled for the first 2 months, I had so much nausea. It hasn't done me any harm in the long run and I can chug drinks now, hooray. I drank through the night too, @Arabesque Told me to do it too. Low calorie ice pops and warm drinks helped me through it- Oxo, Bovril [ also called beef tea ] and Ribena sugar free blackcurrant cordial are the English brand names I found helped me most. Tomato juice was a wonder drink that helped turn me around. It was 47 cals for 200mls and tasted great with hot sauce. Dont be afraid to try anything, good luck

What did you ultimately decide? I've been riveted by this thread and I hope, whatever you decided, it'd making you feel happy and at peace.

    Calories

Some people say that hot beverages such as tea help when they are hungry.

I had my sleeve on 12/22. I am down 55 pounds since surgery and down 79 pounds from my highest weight. When I don't have pneumonia like I do now, I walk the dog for 1.5 miles or more per day, I am working out - especially core exercises, and I am keeping to the protein-first plan. I slip occasionally, but I've never had dumping syndrome, so either my stomach is made from iron or I just know what to put in it. I am more that 50% to my goal weight and can feel it coming....

    May 2022 surgery?

I'm hoping we can! With the amount I have to lose, I would be interested in the bypass but I have Crohn's Disease and my surgeon wanted to do the sleeve.

Hello everyone. I am wondering, on average, when weight loss stopped after gastric sleeve surgery? Thank you.

Hopefully surgeons can use this to lobby for insurance companies to begin covering the procedure.
