    Just had revision

On Monday I had my lap band removed, my hiatal hernia repaired and gastric bypass done. One night in the hospital and back home at 7:45 the next evening. Not a ton of pain but managing with gabapentin and Tylenol with oxycodone available. Right after, I felt I had eaten 3 Thanksgiving dinners, that is slowly going away. I’ve stuck to water and decaf iced tea with one Muscle Milk shake. I’ll do more shakes but preferably not those horrid BA meal replacement shakes. Staff at Fair Oaks Hospital were the most awesome group of people I’ve been with and I’m very grateful for them and my doctors. Now I need to learn how to properly feed my new postage-stamp-sized stomach. Thanks for reading!

    I'm overweight!

4.5 months after my sleeve and I am officially overweight. It's the best thing I have ever done. I cannot believe the speed with which I have lost all that weight. I know that I want to lose another 40 pounds or so and I can only hope that I do, but honestly if I stopped losing weight in the morning I would be happy with what I have achieved right now. Best of luck to those of you starting out on your journey - it's a wild ride.

    Anyone have an Abcess drain?

Good morning everyone, Did anyone have an abcess drain and sleep on there tummy? Just curious it's been a week with this thing and I'm tired of laying on my back but afraid to risk anything as I've been paranoid due to the in and out of the hospital for the past month Update : last week of Feb - surgery First week of Mar - spasum 2nd week - found out i had a hematoma that would go away on its own ( admitted ) 3rd week - it turned to an abcess so they inserted a abdominal drain ( admitted ) 4th week - went to the clinic to remove it but the discharge was yellow and my wbc was high so back to being admitted we went God willing April is better. Anyone with experience please if possible share the details i would greatly appreciate it 😊

    Eating too much?

Hi, I am 13 days PO gastric bypass. For the first 12 days I could barely drink a little more than an oz in 15 mins. This morning for breakfast I was able to drink 11oz in 30 mins and not feel full. For lunch, I just had some soup and I was able to eat 9oz in 30 mins. I don’t feel “stuffed” but I am having heart palpations. Has anyone experienced this? is this normal ?

Lol, yeah i was feeling pretty bad a$$ and proud of myself when it was all done (during, not so much). Im starting to get greys myself, granted im at less than 50 grey hairs in total at the moment and i henna my hair to blend em in better with my regular black hair. Though by the time im willing to go full on grey (and if im willing to go through this again!) the tech said the pigment would be adjusted lighter to work with greys. We’ll see…
