My wife had it done , believe it or not 17 yrs ago but is still struggling with it she is very supportive me having it done but is still giving me advice on the gastric bypass she was doing really well for a long time until she started having a lot of issues around dumping and getting sick all the time, i don't think im going to have to lose any weight before the SX im up to 290 however only 5 8 but ill know soon enough when i have my next appt , i had my first one this morning it went awesome, how are you doing bud ? PS: you had better br good i just might get the boys after you....kidding ...LOL

To those who are beyond immediate post-op. Is there anyone here who wishes you had never undergone bariatric surgery?

4.5 months after my sleeve and I am officially overweight. It's the best thing I have ever done. I cannot believe the speed with which I have lost all that weight. I know that I want to lose another 40 pounds or so and I can only hope that I do, but honestly if I stopped losing weight in the morning I would be happy with what I have achieved right now. Best of luck to those of you starting out on your journey - it's a wild ride.

Good luck to you. I have not seen anyone else have the issues you are having but I can sympathize. We will all be ready to help when needed regardless of what has transpired because that is what people on here do.

I'm more than a year out and have regained that 15 pounds too. I know its common but after so many years spent watching the scale go up and up - I cant help but worry that 15 pounds will turn into 20 then 25 then next thing I know I'm back to my surgery weight! psst... my ticker is also a lie! It says I'm at 130 but I'm really at 143. But its been a while since I've messed with it and cant remember how to change it. Not that I'm trying too hard 😳 So what I decided to do was track my food again. And join a gym. I figure if I'm going to spend the time and money to work out I dont want it to go to waste by over eating or eating unhealthy.

I was sleeved the same day 11/13/12. I was down to 145 (size 8ish- I'm 4'11) when I got my BFP in Sept. I too have lost weight since getting preggo (13lbs for me). Baby is growing completely on track and I too haven't gained much weight with my previous two pregnancies. I'm due may 20th and at the 20 week scan baby is perfectly healthy and actually showing almost a week ahead in measurements and my belly sure hasn't stayed little.
