OK folks I am not trying posting this to be saleys! I have been so disappointed in so many clothing lines in clothes. I cannot find clothes that have decent compression that hold in all this stinking skin while I work out. After a few washes its like I may as well go to Walmart or target. I am so sick and tired of buying workout clothes to throw them away after a couple weeks because I am shrinking in size and they are losing their stretch and the compression is lessening. Well I found a brand that is straight up a god send and I am going to post a link here. Right now they only sell ladies clothes but I believe they will sell a mens line down the road. I bought a crap ton of their stuff and they did send me some discount codes so if you want to save 25$ off any purchase just use SHARE25 in the coupon at check out and you can have 25 dollars off your purchase. I am super impressed with every single thing I have bought. I wash in cold water and hang them up to dry and they haven't lost their compression or color at all!!! They are true to size and I really cannot say enough about how they hold in all the skin, I haven't had any trouble with chaffing while I run or ride bike (sorry if that is TMI) but that was a problem with all that skin before. With 80 pounds lost that is an issue.....Hope this helps anyone looking for high compression work out clothing!!! https://savvi.com/savvikrenzy

    Question QTNA

I’m three weeks out, have tolerated every food I have eaten, have no trouble with liquids or pills, have never vomited or been nauseous. I think for most people that’s the norm. Good luck!

    Knees

What Arabesque said...I’ve had knee replacement surgery before WLS on one knee. Unfortunately, both knees are still trashed That being said, I have severe arthritis in the knees and 13 surgeries on them over the years for various injuries. So...short version..it depends.

    June Surgeries

I just received my surgery date for 6/22. I am really excited, it's been a long 6 months. Before surgery I have to have a balloon dilation of my esophagus on 6/17 due to my hiatal hernia with Schatzki's ring. The Schatzki's ring is a narrowing of the lower esophagus. Currently, I am asymptomatic but it can cause difficulty swallowing as well as other unpleasant symptoms. 10 years ago, I had lap band surgery and as you all well can imagine it didn't end well and I had the lap band removed 5 years ago. Now, I am ready for this new chapter. I have been just reading all of the posts for the past 3-4 months and have found a lot of interesting information and comfort within the community. Looking forward to the best possible outcome moving forward!

    May Surgeries - check in!

I had surgery May 5th; have lost 17 pounds. However, for the last week I’ve had diverticulitis. Maybe it’s the antibiotics, but I am so weak. All I want to do is sleep. This isn’t good… I contacted the clinic. They said it’s because I am not getting enough protein and calories. They never told me the number of calories to be consumed each day. I’ve been getting 500. They said I need to double that but only eat 3 meals/day. Food stays a long time in my pouch, and so far I haven’t been able to eat much at a time. With what they want me to eat, along with the tiny portions only three times a day…. it doesn’t make much sense to me how I will get in 1,000. Anyone else run into this?

    Lose to Cruise

    What was your tipping point?

Wow! I'm so excited to find you all! I've been struggling and yo-yoing for years. Almost every time I meet a new doctor, one of the first things they ask is if I want to consider WLS. I've always said NO. I really thought I could do it on my own, and I have, several times, but always gain it back and more. Now my knees are bone-on-bone and I am in constant pain. My quality of life stinks and I hate not being able to do even the most "normal" things, like clean my apartment, walk up stairs, etc. I now work at a hospital and have good benefits and noticed on our website that they are offering a virtual info session on their weight loss surgery options. So, I signed up! I found this website by searching about alcohol after WLS! lol . I have a goal for 2023, to do a Mediterranean cruise. I went on one in 2016 when I was about 30 pounds lighter. I was able to walk and get around, but I know it would have been so much better if I wasn't so heavy/morbidly obese. I want to go back and see the places we missed (I travel with my daughters) and I know if I don't get this weight off, I won't be able to do it.
