I found a tea that seems to really work in a short order with constipation. I am not a fan of Smooth Move and my friend introduced me to a homemade ginger tea but it was a lot of work and I didnt always have the ingredients around for it. I am always trying things on amazing Amazon and tried this one and in about three hours you could say I had "large results" !! I did not get cramps or super bloated from it. Highly recommend it https://www.amazon.com/Pink-Stork-Constipation-Biodegradable-Discomfort/dp/B07CGKDFJY/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=herbal+tea+constipation&qid=1610057781&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyMUNWTFpaVUYxMFlSJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMjQ1NTA1SjM1Skk5SlJKTkdWJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAxMTc2MTYyRllZNEo0QlkzRzVQJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

I am not liking any food

I found many things revolting shortly after surgery...including protein shakes. It got better. Sometimes it still happens, but rarely. I am able to eat things now (including protein shakes), that were disgusting to me after one meal within the first couple months after surgery. Check with your surgeon’s office regarding using shakes as your primary protein source. Good luck!

When you can't finish your meal

I usually save it for the next day, or sometimes my husband will eat it. I usually make (or order in a restaurant/take out) something that I plan to get 2-3 meals out of. Sometimes by meal #3, I'm just not in the mood for it, and at that point I might toss it. Recent example was a power bowl from Taco Bell. I had it for dinner, then the next day for lunch, then it sat in the fridge for a couple more days til I tossed it! A common example for me is breakfast sandwiches. I always make one, cut it in half, and wrap up the 2nd half for the following day. Also with salads, I never put dressing on them, and instead dip my fork in the dressing as I eat. Undressed salads keep in the fridge better.

It was wonderful BayougirlMrsS. I so enjoyed it. Thank you. I recommended it to my aunt & uncle who sing in their church choir but they don’t have Netflix ☹️. Hope they can borrow one of their children’s account so they can watch it.

Your body is wondering what the hell you just did to it. It went through a major trauma of surgery and is healing. Now you're feeding it way less than it's used to getting. It happens. It really is okay, I promise you. You're doing everything right. I can't explain the science to you, I just know it's real. For instance, I have been eating 650-800 calories for the past 12 days. For the first 5 days I lost weight. For the next 3 days, I GAINED weight. How the hell do you gain weight on 800 calories/day? But I did and I figured it was my body adjusting, plus I was eating green olives, which are high in sodium. So now fast forward two more days and it's slowly coming down again. Weight fluctuations are normal. Take it easy on yourself and take care and trust the process. 😀
