    Too much weight losd

Looking for people who are still sick after they eat. Have had their Roux de Y Gastric Bypass surgery a few years back. Anyone suffering malnutrition? Having hard time with vitamins? Had a Dr that says he wishes you hadn’t had the surgery? I need to relate to another person who may be like me right now. Ty. No hurry in answers. I’m busy working but will check in. Ty ty

Hi there! I'm having my bypass surgery on 10/26 and would like to connect with people that are having bypass surgery on or around the same date so that we can follow each other's journey's. Good luck to everyone!

it's not very common, but I've seen a handful of posts like that since I joined this forum six years ago. Hopefully one of those folks is still around whom you can connect with...

    Any December surgery

It was the hardest part being separated from loved ones. My surgery was the 9th and I hope to go home today. FaceTime helps

    Any December surgery

I am having VGS surgery on The 15th. I’m excited, nervous, hopeful, and terrified. And all those emotions take place within a min when I’m thinking about next Tuesday!! Lol I’m nervous about the post~surgery pain, I have a really low pain tolerance. But then I remind myself of the end goal here. Better health, confidence, and cute clothes!! 😂

My surgery is scheduled for 12/28. I’m on pre op for three weeks and doing great. But there is a chance that COVID numbers will delay my surgery due to hospital needs. I’m praying it doesn’t.

The above lists are very comprehensive. I’m only six weeks post-op, but a couple I’d add are: 22. Don’t worry about getting all the liquid and protein goals met during the first week or two. Many people have problems getting enough of either. If you can’t, let your doctor know at your first post-op visit to ensure there aren’t complications. 23. Seriously do take small bites. I’m only now realizing that the hard lumps and discomfort in my throat when eating are because my bites aren’t small enough. The more solid the food, the more need to take small bites and chew very thoroughly. And moistening solid foods definitely does make them go down easier. Best of luck!

The first one is actually my lunch for work tonight. Chickpeas, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, feta, and fat free Italian. This one is a Korean style beef bowl with rice. Only measured about 1/2 cup of stuff. This one is ground turkey and cabbage soup. This last one is salad greens with feta, almonds, dried cranberries, and cucumbers drizzled with balsamic vinegar.
