    Christmas Worry

You won't feel hungry, so you won't be tempted by holiday fare. That's GOOD NEWS! Stay hydrated and if you do any socializing, take a protein drink with you to have to sip on.

    Hospital stay

I'm not sure you will need to bring much. You will sleep a lot after the surgery from anesthesia. I brought books and was too tired to read them.

    3 Month Stall. WTF?!

Hey all! I am frustrated! Can you tell by the title of my post? Lol! I had surgery on 4/9/19 and although I am down 71lbs, I have been stalled for 3 months now! I've only lost 6lbs since October. I'm not sure what is going on. I will say, back in April of 2017, I did have a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy so maybe my hormones are all over the place. I need advice BAD. Has anyone experienced this long of a stall? If so, how did you come out of it? I am grateful for this tool and am trying to get all I can out of it. HELP!

    They MEAN well, but...

People just can't offer up a good compliment nowadays. Example- You have the prettiest eyes, and your weight lost is looking great on you. Keep up the good work!. [emoji846] Sent from my SM-G781U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Pre-Op Acne

You know, now that I think of it, I did have a bout of acne early on...though I think mine happened around the 1-2 month mark, lasted for a month or so (I remember because I have xmas pics to prove it, lol). I can't really say what the reason behind it was, but the whole toxin/hormone release during rapid fat loss would make sense... Congrats on your upcoming surgery, though! Good Luck ❤️

    Don't it irks you when...

Don't it irks you when a former big person become a shamer? I have a coworker and she did not have a WLS but she had liposuction and a tummy tuck. And she always makes comments about bigger people (she's still sorta big just more shapely now). I went with her to get something to eat and she made a comment about every big person in line. Things like: "she know she needs a salad, I know that plate gotta weigh a ton" And when I called her out, she stated she was just teasing. I've worked with her for a while and I never heard her talk about people like that until she had her surgery. Now, she hasn't said anything about me to my face because she knows I will cuss her out. It just irks me. I decided not to go to lunch with her anymore because her energy is toxic. She finds joy in stepping on people which is kinda weird to me.
