    Healthy versions of junk food

Bottom line is if YOU are happy with your rate of weight loss (and ur labs some back satisfactorily) then u don’t need to change anything, really. You know yourself best and can tell more than us strangers if this is a slippery slope or not. Some can handle it and keep it in check, others may have more difficulty, and should consider refraining. P.S. I ate almost 2 cups of mushroom “chips” for dinner the other day, so yeah, it happens, lol. BUT: I’m 2+ years out and in maintenance for over 1.5 years. Good Luck! Edited to add: oh, and to answer your original question: no, I didn’t eat these types of food during weight loss phase.

Congratulations! 90 pounds in 5 months is fantastic, and your NSVs are great as well.

Thank you. I needed this. I feel like it is not moving or moving extremely slow. I know there is no one size fits all. I just wish I knew what size fits me.

    Losing the 15 lbs...

My insurance didn't have a weight loss requirement. I did have 6 months of monitored weigh-ins but I was just told not to gain weight in that time. I ended up losing 68 pounds though. I did an elimination diet where the first month I cut down my portion sizes and didn't go back for seconds, the second month I cut out soda, third month I cut out rice, fourth month I cut out pasta, fifth month I cut out bread, and sixth month I cut out potatoes and beans. As for exercise, I have two back injuries so what I could do was really limited. I just walked 3-4x a week 10-30 minutes. It worked for me. Plus, it made it easier for me not to cheat and I was better able to prepare myself for how I would be eating after the surgery.

Jealous!!! Lol. I'm in week 2 PO, and on full liquid. I feel good and am ready to try some food. I'll make it five more days though. Ugh

    New here-Gastric sleeve 2019

I found myself in a similar position and only three weeks ago took back the reigns of my eating program. I am focusing on eating just like I was when I first was sleeved: 60g protein, 64 oz water, low carb, low fat. Go back to the basics. Your pouch is still there and will be your best friend as it will restrict you from eating too much at any one setting. You need to cut out the snacking in between meals, though, as you know. You can do this!

Anxiety is through the roof today. Things are overwhelming when looking at it in sum at the moment. The big picture is just, well... too big. We walked the dog today and just like yesterday I wasn't really in the mood. Today even less so than yesterday because I knew what was going to happen. I tend to mull over things in my head and start ruminating when walking in quiet. The conversation with my husband will inevitably turn to these things, raining my anxiety even more. It's different when going for a run or a bike ride. Thoughts are not as present then. I don't know if it's the higher heart rate, the fact that I need to be more aware of the movement when running or needing to be more aware of the environment because of moving faster when riding a bike or a combination of it all. Fact is, I hate walking for this reason, even when not alone. I start ruminating and start to feel like crap when there's something going on.

I always wanted to: Cross my legs, wear boots( ankles never allowed me to), go on vacation and not be tired, go to more parties, wear clothing that fits my style... not my body .
